@Purpsy: i think i'd be more concerned for my neck and back since some are like 22 inches or 27 lol.
and that is too much.
Mine is an okay size but it's too much for me.
That's so kind of him, sounds like a very encouraging brother. Sounds like my sister.
Watercolor seems nice. I mostly take interest in gouache but alas im too poor to afford art supplies so i am mostly
a digital artist only for now.
making art can be a challenge in itself. tho i am surprised by myself last year since i made roughly around 50 drawings last year.

@0v7: Sketching is just about all i can do because of it.
and my stabilizer on every tool is like...15-20.
I avoided painting for so long because i knew it wasn't going to blend smoothly.
But im planning to do so much art this year and a lot of studies
so hopeful someone will take interest in my work.
@Purpsy: Fancy tablets don't matter anyways lol.
It's all about what works. I normally don't understand the whole buying a gigantic screen tablet or cintiq lol.
very pricy and also...very heavy. But that's sweet your brother gifted it to you.
I mostly have given up the whole perfection thing and all year 2020 i told myself
Done is better than perfect.
which did help me get tons of art done. and now i want to focus this year
and improvement in the areas i want to improve on.
im planning to do a portrait or 2 every month so i can track my progress of doing studies.

@0v7: i use csp, my tablet just cant blend no matter what with 2k pen pressure
planning to upgrade. so hoping all the art i do this year will grab someone's attention.
so its looking a little too plastic-y

it actually looks like a face.
not like the ref lol but i'll get there.
but need to make some hard edges.
it looks too soft since my tablet cannot blend due to the low pen pressure.
so i have to rely on the airbrush/blur tool

yeah! its been helping me get over my fear of painting and making it ugly.
now im okay with the ugly art lol.

@Wildfire: Trust me i don't mind ugly hands.
I drew ugly monster hands last time i did hand studies lol.
I did about...110 hands when i did my hand studies.
The exercise im doing is trying to break it down into recognizable shapes.
so i just need practice im sure with shapes.

because i can't get the hand right.
it's just holding me back way too much so time to study these babies. lol.
I might try to draw 10 per month since last year i did 5 per month or tried lol.
