@lina:
Yeah I dont usually celebrate my bday anymore. If anything, the last several years my birtdhay was just a super frustrating time cause of family dramas always spark up then.
But I wanna make it a happy thing this year somehow o/
doesn't have to be boring or lame just cause I'm old
Posted in I can't stick to just one project! (A Gallery) Posted 7 years ago

I have been
keeping so busy
But not finishing much lmao

^ There's a second part to this one where the bowl fills up

Then this one is for an Art Quest thing I got myself into. Idk what I'm doing to myself, I still need to draw another character in the background

Mostly focusing on this one, a commission that I'm extremely excited about
Iloveher

This is how I quickly jot down an idea when I should be going to bed, so I don't end up awake all night thinking about it.
I wanna draw my ffxiv OC with a buster sword after playing ffvii demo ;;

Yayy happy birthday!! I hope you get to do something fun for it this week :D
Mine's in a couple of weeks and I'll be stuck in school. But otherwise I'll just be absorbed in video games probably
Posted in soda Posted 7 years ago

@priestess of pie:
to be fair though, I probably spend more of a fortune when I'm buying snacks at walmart >>
not because they're overpriced, but I just get too many.
I relaly need to work on my diet lmao

@tsundererra:
I'm glad it isn't just me lmao I think some of it has to do with content levels. I never used to stress eat, but lately I think thats whats going on with me lol
Im always in denial about it but really, my bank statements will prove otherwise. Snacks for days, healthy meals for one.

When I'm living in my own place, I at least have more control over the levels of chaos in my space. I feel more organized and healthy is easier
Posted in soda Posted 7 years ago

@tsundererra:
honestly, it was a lot easier when I had my own place. Something about having my own kitchen storage and 110% responsibilities made my diet more conscious and healthy. I fall into weird bad habits when I live with my family xd
But only myself to blame in the end

@mcmoney:
Yeah Im also taking a pathology class, so my "ohshit I need to quit soda!" phases come more frequently :vanora_xd:
I'm sure by next weekend I'll be panicking about another negative cause from the sugars and acids in soda/caffeine.

Oh man, I'm sure it is hard! Sugar on its own is pretty tough to quit sometimes, I can only imagine the challenge with "true" addictions like alcohol.

@priestess of pie:
I despise those teas so its always soda or nothing hahah
but I also need to cut out fast food. Its not even an addiction, its just pure laziness that I keep eating from them!
Posted in soda Posted 7 years ago

@bioshock:
Same, although I have to be careful cause my "bad days" can be pretty often sometimes, since I dont get a lot of downtime where I'm not having a lot of work to do. Then I end up having 2 sodas a day without paying attention to how frequently, then I start craving moreeeeee

So now I try not to drink them daily. xD

@pachi:
0.4 ml = 400 mg
If I manage to stop drinking sodas for about 2 weeks straight, I stop craving it! But its always around me, everywhere, cause this is america
Then one day I'll have a suuuper bad day and I'll just throw my hands up like, fuck it! I dont drink alcohol so soda is the one for me lmao

@kegs:
lmao thats awesome! Ive never tried making my own. Dont think I need that kind of encouragement in my life xd
But it seems to be a pretty big thing here, I see others doing it a lot

@priestess of pie:
restaurants are how I broke my no-soda records almost every time. That and fast food. You dont think about it being a soda until its in your hand and you've already drank half of it. Such a bad, engraved habit.

I thought sucralose was also pretty bad for you? I might have my information jumbled up haha
Posted in soda Posted 7 years ago

"“If you drink those beverages in low amounts — less than 400 milligrams — that's probably OK,” Dr. Rosian says. “That means less than four cups of coffee per day might be fine, and less than two cans of cola a day"

It doesn't matter what the source is for this quote
because it justifies me breaking my no-soda/no-caffeine diet for the 4th time in 6 months
:vanora_xd:

-chugs mnt dew-
my job sucks too much to quit soda right now

@celeste:
Oh, I would love that! I only have 2k volts at the minute but I'd be happy to send them to you ;v;
sorry for the late response, work and sleep calls
Posted in does the right tail exist for me Posted 7 years ago

@goblin:
oooo it does look much better on my avi than the current colors!
I might have to get it in the meantime, and then make something for a suggestion thread too <3
Thank you!
Posted in does the right tail exist for me Posted 7 years ago

Take a look at my avi

I love this tail, its one of the first items I loved, but the colors just dont match. Besides the yellow which just makes it close enough that I try to use it anyway and pretend it goes with.
But I'm always coloring it to match my hair

Is there a tail that is floofy and matches this color scheme already, or should I edit a good example and toss it into a suggestion thread?
I'm assuming the latter but didn't wanna look silly if it actually does exist, I just dunno how to find it :vanora_xd:

@bonnie:
I want to talk about as much as I can, I have 4 pages to vomit information onto. But having ADHD makes it hard af to organize the subject lmaocries
I wanna touch on the common associations with it, and explain how they truly relate. I definitely want more emphasis on how adults live with it, based on studies more than personal experiences. Since I'm always learning new things about it too and it seems like adult ADHD is the most misunderstood.

If this were longer, I'd cover anxiety, depression and autism too. But I'll probably just brief over where these all link together sometiems <3 cause its also important af to know that.

Maybe getting food will help me think clearer ;D

Posted in i did not do my homework.. Posted 7 years ago

@bonnie:
Yes! ADHD hits close to home, but a lot of people act weird if I say I have it cause there's such a weird misunderstanding about it. Its treated like a myth and an excuse for making certain mistakes. ILL TELL EM.

Lmao olive garden always comes with leftovers. I usually only finish half my plate if I'm lucky!
Posted in i did not do my homework.. Posted 7 years ago

gasp
I just wrote a rant about adhd
I should make my report about that!
Even though I'm a page into endometriosis already. ovaries and junk are boring
Posted in i did not do my homework.. Posted 7 years ago

@bonnie:
Oh man, my gift card is burning a hole in my pocket now lol That sounds so good.
I should be writing my reports, not thinking of food! :vanora_xd:
