rollin' again before bedtime

rolling again before dinnertime

@Violet: all your jokes are punderful, never stop.

@Wildfire: not sure what's worse.. going between freezing and warm, or cool and scorching...

@ghost: i read most of it i really enjoy the writing, but sometimes i do be in a hurry

me, responding to hours-old posts as if the conversation didn't move on without me long ago

i didn't find it that hard tbh i thought this one was pretty fun

@Wildfire: that's about the same amount of fluctuation we've been having here lately (i'm in NC), just at a higher average temperature. wild...

@kiwi: the temptation to just be warm and comfy all the time is real. that said, there is nothing quite like going to bed kinda cold but snuggling up under blankets so that you wake up with that perfect temperature equilibrium.

@Wildfire: I always imagined FL to have more stable temps, but I guess it depends on what part you're in?

@kiwi: imagine: like a battery powered electric blanket, but 100x more useful!

@Totalanimefan: oh yuck, snow is the worst. I like it for about 5 minutes while it looks all pretty and serene... then I remember it's a cold, wet nuisance that almost always comes with icy pavement.

then, for all his menace, my cat follows me to the shower and mews pitifully from outside the curtain. He wants to make sure I'm OK because water is evil and there I am, standing in it like a dumbass. My boy worries about me ;v;

@Totalanimefan: i guess winter is right around the corner, after all... but it'd be nice if the transition went a little more smoothly lol

@Violet: it's a tough job, requires a lot of concentration for sure.

Unrelated to anything, but do y'all ever just look at your pets all curled up asleep and think "this little butthole, who spends their day menacing me and my household, is more comfortable than i'll ever be in my life"?

violet what where
*scrolling back to the previous page*
OH HELLO

@kiwi: and this is why we wear easily removable layers. unless it starts off hot and gets cold; that one's more tricky lmao

It's in the 40s today; I just wish the weather would make up its mind. I turn the heat on at night because it's below freezing, then wake up super early in the morning to turn it off because it's hot again, then evening hits and suddenly it's cold. Then we'll have random days where it's just warm all the time, but don't get too comfortable because tomorrow it's back to freezing!
