Hollie was silent for a moment before nodding.

"You do that." She told him.

"Or rather, collect resumes. I'd like to go over them myself." She added honestly.

"As I do with most hires."

Hollie was completely silent before sighing, heavily.

"Great." She muttered.

"With that, looks like I need to start looking for someone to fill his shoes."

"..." Hollie didn't say anything.

"And if he does, then it'd just be more trouble than what he's already going through." She then said, her voice calm. "And I know that he is smart enough to contain it." she added before continuing on to where the security was with him.

"What's going on?'

"Honestly, anything you can do is something that I will definitely appreciate." Hollie told him honestlyt.

"Anything you can do or find. Whatever the case may be." She added as a means of correcting herself.

"And it's all right." She added. "I'd say it was probably more me with bringing them up."

Hollie didn't say anything for a few seconds before sighing, heavily.

"Yeah, probably." She agreed after a moment or two.

"Depends on what they rope him into doing though." She added.

Hollie nodded.

"That would be fantastic." She commented before pausing.

"Well, him being in there would look really poorly on me and on those that are below me, but I would prefer that he was in the reports and DID actually fuck up, as it would mean I don't have to deal with him any longer." She explained. "But still, maybe I should be checking those over more... I usually get someone else to do it because I trust .... Ed them."

"I'm not sure who all I can trust in there, if I'm being honest."

Hollie didn't say anything for a few seconds.

"... all right then." was all she said.

"I'll leave you to it then." She added.

"I admit, I'm ridiculously curious though."

Hollie was silent for a couple of breaths.

"I hate asking, I really do." She admitted.

"But I really am at my wits end with those three." She added. "They are starting to get those in other parts of the Council on their side... And even the Triad." She told him. "This is less a case of what I want to do. If I want to maintain my position, and my life possibly, then I have to stop them. I just can't do it myself, sadly. I've tried, and failed."

"...... give me a valid reason anbd cause to kick Edward, Justin, and Victor off of the damned committee below me." Hollie answered.

"They ARE trying to work me to death." She continued."and I know that."

"Yet there has been absolutely nothing that has stuck so far. If I try too hard, then I'll be in trouble because I'm letting personal preference get in the way."

"Busy." Hollie answered. "What the hell do I do outside of the council?"

"I'm largely too damned busy. I go home to sleep, then back to work. You know that." she added.

"I'm a bit of a workaholic, but not really by choice."

"Outright adoption out of the question for the moment, yes." Hollie confirmed with a nod.

"If all goes well though... he can adopt her, no problem." She added.

"All we can do is help him along to make it that he doesn't fuck this up."

Hollie just sighed, heavily.

"I know." She said.

"However, those that oversee that specific section of the council files have agreed with me on one thing." She started.

"One: They refuse to let him adopt her flat out, because he's a single parent and she's blind." She told him.

"Two: They are completely willing to allow him to foster her for a few months, possibly up to a year, they aren't sure on the length of time for him to prove himself, in order to prove that he CAN handle it."

"... he had no direction in his life for so long, yet now it seems he has direction. It's refereshing, if I'm being honest." Hollie commented.

"I'm not sure what it is that happened to him, to make this change, but... it happejned, and I can't say I don't appreciate it." She added after a few seconds.

"If only just because maybe he'll find purpose and just... be happier."

"Good to know." Hollie commented. "Is it going to be too much for her though?" she then asked, her voice curious, and a little concerned.

"I know she's already a mother, and a blind child is definitely another task that not many are prepared for." she added.

"Also, Ty wishing for all his alchol to be gone? I admit, that surprises me a bit."
