"You would only win because you guys fight dirty." She stated.
"At least my side honours the rules of war." She looked over to Ty, waiting for him to try and barrel past her.
"I'll stop you, and you know I can~" she called to him.

"And where would you go? Where do you honestly believe is the safest place to live?" She asked him.
"Especially since we both know that we're eant to die at a specific point in each life in order to protect this place. So you ain't go Too terribly far, otherwise that could be thrown outta sync."

"And yeah, she kept stressing how the clock was ticking and such. I'm quite relieved that we were able to do it in time." She added.
"Considering the fact that I like this place too." She finished with, with a chuckle as she started to check him over, make sure things were good as far as she could tell.

"Which sent you careening into an oncoming bus as they just blazed past, not even slowed down much." She added.
"Can't say I'm surprised you don't have much in terms of recollections of that. I know your memory is damn good, but you're still, mostly, human." she finished with as she pulled a small packet out of a pocket, and a water bottle from the other, before setting them down on the end table next to him.

"Fw dead. I was one of the lucky ones." She added before they heard a knock on the door.
"Enter" Mackenzie then said, to which the one knocking did. It was Alicja.
"Mackenzie, might I have a few words with ... uhh..." She paused, looking toward the male.
"Got a name?' She asked him as Mackenzie just laughed, figuring she'd leave that to him - if he could remember it - and left.

"Were you actually the one at fault for that crash, by the way?" She asked, her voice curious.
"Honestly. Because... I think the cops might be amazed you're alive." She added

"However, I managed to rez you before your brethren decided to come play, this time." She added.
"Don't crash again, hey? I'd rather not clean up a mess like this again. You almost took ME out too, for that matter, and that would have been even worse."

A few days later, Mackenzie made her way into the room where her partner was set up, leaning against the closed door. She just watched him, knowing he'd be waking soon, within the hour.
"I hate you." she muttered, not looking away. She knew that his presence would increase abruptly, to a level that would almost drive people mad within a second, before vanishing just as quickly as he properly revived. She'd made sure to give everyone a heads up on that as well, and those that were particularly susceptible to that kind of presence weren't even in the building today.
