Kalin didn't say anything, not that he likely expected her to speak. The damage it seeme dhe had sustained was most certainly extensive.

She did nod though, giving him the consent that he needed for this. She had an idea as to what was to come, and also knew that he wouldn't her hurt. She did trust him, after all.

The question though, was whether or not he'd prove that she shouldn't trust him.

So she just laid her head back, and waited.

Sometime later, Kalin woke in one of the hospital rooms, and panicked for a moment. Granted, that was largely because she couldn't see a damned thing. Of course she couldn't, she didn't have her glasses on, and it was the middle of the night.

". . . Thank you..." She said quietly, realising she was alone. She'd have to thank Rene properly later, although she wasn't entirely sure how she would do that.

She was also going to see if he could help her out with dealing with the ones that had even put her in such a state.

"I hurt, feel a bit foggy, but have an awareness of what is going on and what happened." was Kalin's response.

"And thank you." She then said with a soft smile.

"Also... assuming you know him... do you know how one could go about and thank him properly?" She asked, shifting to be looking at them moreso than before.

Kalin nodded.

"Good to know, thank you." She said with a soft smile.

"And all right. That sounds like a good idea." She added

"That ... was quick." Kalin commented.

"You're... a surgeon. Er/night shift?" She asked, her voice curious.

"and I'm... as is to be expected."

"My dorm mate decided that she'd 'had enough' of me." Kalin commented with a light, pained, sigh.

"Worst it's gotten, too." She added. "I ... don't even know what all was done, other than pain. Lots and lots of pain." She continued.

"Then she took off after cleaning the place. That bleach was horrible. I'm sure you noticed the chemical burns from where it hit me."

Kalin just sighed lightly.

"That... I don't know." She admitted.

"Was kind of in and out due to the trauma, and what they gave me." She added.

"But I do remember calling you, and you're arrival." She paused a moment, smirking lightly.

"You shoulda told me you're a mage."

Kalin just laughed... but that devolved into pain rather quickly.

"Ack , damn. That hurt." She muttered.

"And I'm a Kiczys. Of course I do." She answered

"Cramping style pain." Kalin answered.

"My ribs feel like they are being compressed and cramped." she added before shrugging, slightly.

"I am willing to put money down that it's because my chest is bounda t the moment. If I were to guess, cracked or broken rib?"

Kalin was silent for a moment before sighing.

"Better than being here, and I trust you." She said before sighing, again.

"And far better than my dorm." She then said. "Admittedly, I'll take being here than in my dorm.'

"But I won't complain, can't complain, about staying with you. Thanks, Dr. Calder." She said with a soft, slightly pained, smile.
