'That's entirely fair." Kalin commented as she followed him.

"I plan on heading back home once I'm done school, too." She then said.

"But I don't know anything more specific than that." She added with a light shrug.

"Why do you want to move, anyway? Any particular reason?"

"People's desires change, almost on the daily." Kalin commented, following him down the hall.

"It's something that one can't deny, no matter how hard some people try." She added.

"So it really doesn't surprise me that you moved here for one reason, then years later, you decide to move."

Kalin looked around, not answering him right quickly. After a few seconds, she did.

"Oh, I'm fine. Thank you." She said. "May I take a seat?" She aske.d When he motioned that she could, she made her way over to one of the table chairs and took a seat, carefully, as he headed off for the laptop.

While he was gone, she looked around, not entirely sure what it was that she was supposed to make of this, but certainly appreciating the fact that she was somewhere that she believed she may posisbly be safe.

At least, she hoped she was.

Kalin nodded, said her thanks, before plugging and booting up the laptop. She didn't know if it would work for certain, but for some reason she found herself trusting this man.

As she worked to se it up, Rene was able to get a good look at her.

And notice that she was quite pale.

Kalin was silent for a moment, did something with the laptop, before getting to her feet. Granted, her movements were a bit slower than one might have expected, but they weren't super slow, thankfully.

"Where?" She asked after a moment or two.

"As in, where would you like to do this?"

Kalin nodded before heading to the room in question. Once there, she sighed lightly before removing her jacket and setting it aside. She then, carefully, removed her top, leaving her in nothing but her sports bra on her top half.

"... ow." she muttered as she set her slightly blood stained top on her jacket. She knew questions would be asked, but she knew that she had to do this. It'd be good for her to have the massive bruise, and cut, on her side looked at.

She didn't sit down though, knowing she was bleeding. She grabbed her shirt and held it to the wound, cursing how it was still bleeding a bit.

". . . That's just it." Kalin commented.

"I... Actually, I don't." She then said after a moment.

"Woke up in a blood soaked bed yesterday." She continued with a sigh.

"Been feeling ... rough, to put it lightly, since." She added.

"I have... no idea what it is that I did though."

The wound really wasn't bleeding much at all. It had been at one point, but now it was still bleeding, but not much. Not even as much as a paper cut.

She winced as he lightly rouched it, curious about how tender it was.

"Sadly, I don't have any iea how or even when I got this." She told him honestly.

"Not fun, but I do appreciate getting it looked at. Thank you."

Kalin just sighed.

"I know." She said.

"But I honestly have no idea what it is that happened, and what it is that causes me to be so... disconnected, I suppose?" She asked, not sure as to what the right term to use would be.

"You're probably right though, I'm likely overworking myself." She conceeded before shruging slightly.

"Worth it to remain at the top of my year, though."

Kalin didn't say anything, just nodded. As Rene asked if she wanted to sit down, she shook her head and continued standing... managing to maintain her posture and the like through him cleaning, and using a few stitches to hold it all together to heal properly. After he'd finished, he noticed that she had her eyes closed and was just doing what she could to steady her breathing. Apparently she knew how to handle pain. When he got her attention, she looked over to him before nodding.

"Than you." She said with a soft smile.

"Already that feels better." She said. "There's a tightness from the stitches that ... I guess feels 'right'."
