I was wondering about this... Do you get the rare on your 10th go even if you got the rare on like your 3rd try? Or is it like 10 tries without getting a rare so you get one by default?
@sunny: If you get one on your third try, the counter resets. So if you open 9 and dont get one, you'll get one on your tenth box.

@sunny: They won't be super rare thankfully, they've made them two-monthly instead of one, so there'll be plenty out there

Ahh, clarification! It's every 10 of a specific crate, iirc. So waiting for next month won't help you hit that 10, unfortunately, since October crates are different than Sept crates.
I went 8 crates before I got mine this month, and I think someone else in staff chat was lamenting that it took them 9, haha. Meanwhile people are getting them in 1 crate and I'm just sitting here glaring at my inventory haha
