Anyone ever feel like being funny is what validates you/makes you worth it in certain circles?
Yeah, pretty much. If I didn't have my sense of humor, I'd be pretty easy to ignore.

I'm always the funny person in my group of friends.
I always strive to be the funny person when in a new place, making new friends, being in any situation.
And I've been told many, many times that I am funny! And nothing on earth makes me feel more validated.
Not being told I'm pretty, or smart, or kind. I love being funny. I love making people laugh.
If I were any better at story-telling, I'd love to be a comedian. But my jokes are kind of dependent
on timing and hitting a conversation with a one-liner. I think that's the best I can do lmao

Yep, I was the goofy type in most groups.
I have friends complimenting me about it and it's nice of them but... It never felt like is me.
I have days when I'm funny and witty I guess but there are days I just want to be normal TwT
Nowadays I don't really care anymore ┐(￣ヮ￣)┌
