Adym looked at Callie and sighed as well.

"We'll try to find a way to help you regain your memory." he said.

"Somehow." he mumbled.

"I'm sure we'll find a way. We have to at least TRY." he reasoned.

"Absolutely." Kai agreed.

"After all, as they say, nothing is impossible." he said. "Especially in a world such as this one." he chuckled.

Adym just smiled.

"He has a point." he told Callie.

Callie was silent before nodding.

"I definitely hope so." She commented.

"Besides, maybe having an old friend around will help." She added with a shrug.

A few days later, Ceth and Xeri were sitting and enjoying the cabin they were in, when there was an unexpected and abrupt knock on the door.

Xeri looked over, but didn't move. There was no one that would know they were there, aside from one person... but still, someone was knocking.

"I'm not getting up, Ceth. You can answer this one."

Ceth looked at Xeri in silence for a moment, before sighing.

"Fine..." he said.

He then got up and made his way to the door, pausing as he reached it.

'Who could it be...?' he wondered.

'Is it...?' he then wondered further, before opening the door.

And seeing a child there.

"Uh... can I help you?" he asked.

The child was silent for a moment, and didn't look... right. She looked rough, and drastically thin.

"Hello." She said, not saying anything more for the moment, before sighing. She didn't know what it was that she could say, as there was definitely something that was stopping her. The question though, was what.

". . . " She didn't say anything before just grabbing some of the vermillion coloured hair she had, and pulling it forward a bit, as if to bring it to his attention. She didn't say anything, though. Which may have been quite annoying.

Ceth was silent for a moment, seeing the vermillion hair.

"Ah... ah..." he stammered.

"Xeri!" he called to the female in the room.

"Xeri, there's been a development!" he said further, before kneeling down slightly.

"Hey..." he addressed the girl.

"You all right?" he asked. "You need help?" he asked further.

"...and... can you sense me...?" he then asked her.

The little girl nodded as Xeri made her way over to her brother.

"What's up?" She asked. The child just waved to Xeri when she approached.

". . . You lost, kid?" She asked her, obviously not aware of what was going on.

"No." Ceth responded.

"No, she's not lost." he said.

"In the sense that she's right where something inside her was telling her to be." he went on.

"Xeri, she's a crux. Look at her hair and eyes." he then told her.

"I asked if she could sense me, and she nodded. I'm pretty sure the crux that can sense me... has found me." he continued.

"..." he was then silent, and sighed quietly.

Now they knew there was ANOTHER crux on board, and odds were that that wouldn't sit well with Xeri.

Xeri just sighed.

"That's fun." She said simply.

"And probably going to be an issue,. I really don't have a good feeling about all this..." She said with a light sigh.

"But whatever." She paused a moment before pushing her brother gently out of the way.

"Wish to come sit?" She asked the child, who hesitated a moment before looking down the hall and around. At some point during the day, she'd been separated from the one she was travelling with, and decided to hunt out Ceth, apparently. She nodded, though.

"Come in." Xeri said with a light smile. The child did, and after they got her seated somewhere, with a drink, Xeri sighed.

"What's your name?" She asked. The child was silent for a moment before answering.

"Sarator... but... Sara is good." Was her answer.

Ceth was silent for a moment, scratching his chin as Sara talked.

"I'm Ceth." he introduced himself.

"This is Xeri." he then introduced his sister.

"Nice to meet you, Sara." he told her.

He then sighed, and shook his head.

"You don't speak Common very well, do you?" he asked.

"What language DO you speak?"

Sara didn't miss a beat before answering.

"Oretzy." was her answer.

"Wait, you're from Oretzy?" Xeri asked. Sara nodded in response.

". . . that explains a lot." She admitted with a sigh. "Hungry?" She asked. Sara paused before biting her lip, wanting to answer yes, but also not wanting to impose. She'd been 'trained' in such a way to not ask for things, as it was considered 'rude'.

Ceth just sighed.

He cleared his throat and shook his head.

"It's all right." he told her, using the language that she spoke. Thankfully he and his sister spoke it, and quite fluently... though he DID have a bit of an accent.

"We have food here if you want some. Some fruit and stuff from the eating area." he said further.

"Also, are you here alone?" he asked.

"You seem a bit young to be travelling by yourself."

"Not alone." She answered, switching languages quickly and easily.

"... Lost my guide." She admitted after a moment or two.

"Well, we can help you find them." he offered.

"I'm sure we'll be able to locate them." he assured her.

"What do they look like?" he asked.

"Do you remember the last time you saw them?"

"A centaur." was Sara's answer. Xeri just paused.

"well... that'll make them easy to find." The teen commented with a light laugh.

"His name is Karivyn, and I saw him earlier today. We got separated earlier in the slight busy-ness that happened." Sara then said.

"Yeah, things DID get a bit on the hectic side earlier." Ceth admitted.

"Thankfully it ended up being nothing." he said further.

"But sure, we'll help you find him. he then assured Sara.

He smiled at her reassuringly, and then offered her an apple-like fruit.

"Here." he said.

"Have a Mahl-mahl, if you like."

"I'm sure this Karivyn is worried about you." he went on.

"We should try and find him." he reasoned.

"Make sure he knows you're all right."

"What about back to your cabin? Can you just sit and wait there?" Xeri then asked. Sara just shool her head.

"I... don't have a key, and don't want to sit on the floor.' was the childs answer. Xeri paused a moment before laighing lightly.

"Well, that is certainly fair."

"Seriously. This may be a big ship, with a lot of people, but a centaur should stand out." he reasoned.

"It's the best we can do." he shrugged.

"Because we really should do SOMETHING." he told Xeri.

"We can't just leave her alone, or separated from her guardian."

"You stay with her. I'll go looking around on my own as well." She then said. "See if the other three we know on this ship are willing to help as well."

"We'll get you met with your guide again." She said with a smile.

"Thank you." was all Sara said in response.
