"....well, all right." Adym responded, as he approached the desk, paid for a room, and got the keys for it. He then returned to her, and handed her a pair.

"All right." he said.

"Let's go check it out." he told her.

They then went to the room, and found it had all they needed. A couple of beds, some storage spaces, some mirrors, and a place to clean themselves.

"Cool." he said.

"This should be more than comfortable for the night."

Callie nodded.

"Without a doubt." She agreed as she made her way to one of the beds and took a seat.

"Honestly, I'm just happy to have somewhere at least relatively comfortable tonight." She added. "I get this is more, but still."

The next day, they managed to get onto the ship without any issue, and situated into the room they had. Callie just sighed lightly as she laid back on the bed that she had chosen.

"How long do you think it'll take to get across the water?" She asked, her voice curious.

Adym thought for a moment.

"Several days." he said.

"It's a long journey." he sighed.

"Thankfully, meals are included here." he went on.

"Think of this as like a cruise ship in the other world." he then told her.

"We'll be comfortable here, at least." he reasoned.

"I guess... just try and enjoy the trip, as best you can..."

"Oh I'm sure I'll be fine." Callie commented after a moment or two.

"Seriously." She added.

"Sure, I'm nervous about being on a ship for the first time, but I can swim, and apparently have the whole ice thing. I'm sure it wouldn't be an issue if we landed in the water."

"Fair." he said.

"You are more than capable." he agreed.

"Anyway, we'll be shoving off soon." he told her.

"I guess... feel free to do whatever you like." he shrugged.

"There should be some things to do onboard..." he mumbled.

"I think they have a pool as well."

Callie was silent before pausing.

"Huh. Thought we would have already set sail." She commented before shrugging.

"Might as well head up to the deck then." She added.

"See what that surface has to offer."

Just as she said that, they felt the ship lurch forward, and saw that they were moving... if they looked out their window.

"Well. That was convenient." he commented.

"I guess I should explore the ship as well." he said.

"See what I can find." he went on.

"Just be careful about being potentially recognised." he warned.

"...but with so many people here... that may not be a problem, as long as you remain lowkey."

"Honestly, I'm more worried about if that imposter is on here." She commented.

"Then someone could claim I'm impersonating her. I really don't want that drama."

"....that is fair." Adym muttered.

"Hmmm." he mumbled further, looking her up and down.

"You may need a disguise." he said.

"And by that, I mean something to hide your hair." he specified.

"If we can keep your hair out of sight, then you might be able to slip under the radars of everyone here." he went on.

"..." he was then silent for a moment.

"Callie?" he then addressed her.

"Can I... confide something in you?" he asked, sounding a bit uneasy.

Callie was silent for a moment.

"What's up, Adym?" She asked.

". . . are you all right?" She asked, not entirely sure what it is that she was supposed to expect here. All she could say with any degree of surity, was that it seemed as if this was something he honestly felt that he had to say, even if it wasn't something he wanted to say.

Adym was silent for a moment, seemingly trying to find the words.

"Remember how you said you were feeling... off?" he asked.

"I think I understand what you were saying." he said.

"Because I feel... off... as well." he told her.

"It's... hard to explain." he continued.

"But I somehow think I know just how you were feeling earlier, and may still be." he went on.

"Been feeling like this ever since we boarded the ship."

Callie was silent for a moment before sighing.

". . . wonder what it is then." She commented.

"Because... I don't know if it's good or bad, or maybe psychosomatic?" She then asked, knowing he wouldn't likely know the answer.

"Anyway, I'm going to go get some fresh air and see what kind of anything is up on deck." She paused. "Or elsewhere on the ship." With that, she got to her feet and made her way for the door out of the room.

"You do that." he said.

"I'll... I dunno, mill about the ship as well." he muttered, before shaking his head.

"Actually, wait up." he then said, making his way towards her.

"May as well walk with you to the deck. Take a look around." he reasoned.

"Feel the wind in my hair, as it were."

"Sure thing, come on." She said with a chuckle, before they headed off.

"Are you sure we can actually avoid their detection?" She asked as she leaned over a railing, looking at the deck below. They were standing on an upper deck, watching the pair below them.

"And was it really such a bright idea to be on here? So many of us in one place... I'm not sure it was the smartest choice." She added with a sigh.

"And his seeings are never wrong." he assured her further.

"Also, if something seems so foolish that it wouldn't be done... then do it." he went on.

"I know... but I'm still concerned about it." She admitted.

"We're going to be far enough soon that we won't be able to help any of them easily if the ship were to sink."

"All we can do is keep going." he told her.

"And don't worry." he then said.

"I'm here to help you. And protect you." he assured her further.

"I've done so thus far, have I not?" he asked with a small chuckle.

"I know." She stated.

"Oh... looks like there's a bit of a commotion starting. Wonder what's going on."

He looked over towards the commotion, and raised an eyebrow.

"Huh." he muttered.

"Doubt it's anything to do with us." he said.

"It's best we not unnecessarily call attention to ourselves." he reasoned.

Meanwhile, Adym and Callie had heard the commotion as well, and were curious as to what was happening.

However, they DID hear a voice above the others.

"-don't recognise me!?" a male asked.

"How can you not!?"

Callie missed a step when she heard the voice. She recognized that voice, but heaven help her... she didn't know why or how.

"What the..." She started before shaking her head as she approached the crowd and the pair in the middle.

"I'm sorry, am I supposed to?" The young woman he was speaking with asked, her voice quizzical. She looked... well, she looked like nobility at the very least. The way she carried herself, her voice, her state of dress. ... everything looked as it seeme dpeople believed she was.

Even had the streak of blue that Callie did - although hers was slightly off for colour.

Callie, meanwhile, brought a hand up to the side of her head, trying to figure out what the nagging feeling she had was, but unable to identify it.
