i spent my halloween today sleeping in, procrastinating, and then eventually filling out the application that i had been procrastinating on lol
i left the house for groceries at one point and realized i forgot my mask :0 i felt so embarrassed lol
and when i turned around i realized i had Also forgotten my keys wallet and phone
i decided it was not my day and that i'd try again tmr haha
how is everyone's weekend so far? ^^

i was originally planning on doing a short story anthology too! ^^
sigh idk ... i def talked about doing it a few months ago when i was reading/writing more and had it on my mind!
but now i've been kind of busy w other stuff ... it's not fun for me if it becomes a sources of stress / something i "have" to do vs. something i want to!
i do think that "action creates motivation" tho - like if i start writing, it will make me feel like writing more! so maybe if i get started it can get me in the mood for nano? and i do have a list of story ideas i can "choose" from
ahhh idk we'll see! maybe if i see u talk about writing a bunch it'll inspire me to do it too lol!

yeah it's that kind of day. I slept in until after 11 am. The big thing i needed to be ready for today was a carpet being replaced which ended up not being able to be replaced because we discovered 12 feet (by ...9? feet) of asbestos tile.
We're talking about the UK getting locked down.
@Totalanimefan: people just aren't abiding by social distancing rules, they're having parties, going shopping etc. And the NHS is one step away from being crippled :(
@xvz: I know what you mean about it feeling like a chore. It's tough when it's like that. I hope your inspiration appears soon. I wasn't feeling it tonight, I only managed 400 words! I usually post about my writing so I hope that can inspire you :) you can always chat to me about writing problems etc :)

idiot college students from NYC have been coming up state to my area (well the city closest) and having parties and going to a beach we have. And now we're getting cases of covid in our areas :/ Like these idiots left the plague city and brought it north west. UGH.
Ugh that's so thoughtless of them :/ honestly I am so disgusted with the way some people have behaved during this pandemic :/

The number of times my husband has run into Karen ready to attack him for grocery shopping and trying to buy food for his 3 kids and wife without having them go out as well to face those kind of people and to keep safer...
let's just say one of them got so violent she got escorted from the store by a cop who she hit my husband in front of -.- This has been a year of I hate people and one reason why i haven't been socializing.

Well yes, NYC is shutting back down as well xD it was just announced sometime this week my husband told me about it.
the stupid city idiots got the rest of the state sick by taking vacations. so governor or someone got mad and shut things down.
But it really sucks that UK is shutting down again too :[ I really hope a cure is found soon.
@Totalanimefan: Mine usually keep them pretty short just by using the scratching post, but every now and then they'll have a long one which I'll notice after I get scratched lol.
i honestly thought scratching posts just kept claws sharp not short. xD
Currently recovering from large amounts of PTSD. I'll post when I can, please ping for replies. Things are very difficult for me right now.
