Callie nodded.

"Yeah... that may not be the easiest." She commented.

"Anyway, do you need me help with anything?" She then asked, her voice curious. She didn't really want to sit around being useless, keeping herself distracted may be the best idea at the moment, and she realised that.

Callie nodded.

"I can do that. If there's water, that is." She added after a moment.

"Oh, there should be running water here." Adym then told her.

"All right, good to know." She then said before heading off to the room in question. She checked it over and found that yeah, there were dishes, and no, they weren't clean. At least not clean enough for her to say were good to use. The dust on them was ... rather notable.

Chances are no one had been there for quite awhile.

so she set to cleaning them.

Callie nodded.

"Yeah, I can do that." She said simply before grabbing her dagger and getting to work pelling what he told her to.

It was late. The darkness had fallen and fallen quite solidly. Moreso than one would have expected, as well.

Callie was asleep,. but Adym was awake. He was sitting in the room he had said he'd stya in, shadows swarming the area, and completely not realising that they were there, that the shadows were stronger.

He was left in there, paranoid and frantically looking around, for long enough that it was very possibly an inch from driving him insane, before there was an arrow throught the doorway that he hadn't even noticed was opened. As the arrow embedded into the wood at his feet, it was almost as if there was a flash grenade. The room illuminated, extremely strongly, and he watched the shadows be ... dissolved. When he looked around to see what the hell happened, to try and properly process the fact that the room was clearer now, he saw a hooded figure in the doorway.

"Adymir, what are you doing here?" They asked, their voice decidedly female.

"I thought you'd left."

"Yeah, they are." they said.

"Now come on. We can reach the city by nightfall if you get up and move now." Followed, a touch of impatience to their voice.

"No one has stayed here for ... years, actually, due to the corruption bringing some of the lowest Void Dwellers to the forest."

They were sightly for a moment.

"Wait... what?" They asked.

"Who? And where?" Followed. After he'd told them where to go, they made their way to the room quickly. AS the door was opened, Adym was able to see that the lighting in there was about the same as it had been for him, before the newcomer had arrived. They quickly fired another arrow into the room, causing a burst of light. The shadows were destroyed in much the same manner to reveal Callie, asleep.

"I'll escort you two to the city." The newcomer stated.

"I'll wait outside." Followed before sighing.

". . . I thought she was dead though." Was the last thing that ADym heard before they were gone. About thirty seconds later, Callie stirred.

"Nnng... what?" She asked as she sat up and looked to Adym.

"What's going on?"

". . . All right." Callie said before getting to her feet nad stretching.

"Let's go then, I suppose?" She asked as she started to get her stuff together.

"At least we'll have someone with us. I guess?" She asked, not entirely sure if that was a good or bad thing, if one was to be honest.

"Anyway, let's go then."

"You two ready?" They asked. Callie jus tnodded.

"Yeah, I'm good." Callie answered as she did up the belt around her hip, instead of around her torso, as she had before.

"I think we have everything." She added.

"Also, thank you." The newcomer paused as Callie said that.

"For what?" They asked.

"For showing up to help." was Callie's answer.

"Oh, it was my pleasure."

"No. No one is." Was the answer he received.

"Come on. Let's just get back to the city, and where there's at least some safety." They continued.

After they were walking a bit, they paused a moment.

"Why are you back, anyhow?" They asked. "Since you said you were leaving to protect the place?"
