@Lilykin: if you look at the sale price history they bought them for like somewhere bewteen 300k-500k and they just saw on it while it grew. Stuff is double what it was just 5-7 years ago here.
Cause no housing is built. That’s what happens.

And also on a more snarky and petty note. If the project is going to be built out over 10 years, how many of those old people are gonna be around to see it completed? Not all of them. (It’s going to be done in phases)

Well everything takes forever here in CA
But it’s cause it’s going to be about 8-10 buildings. It’s a mix of housing, retail and office plus parks. They also have to make new roads.

Yes it will be. It’s funny I’ve been fighting for this for years and it’s finally done but my husband and I are so done with the rich assholes here and the cost of living that we want to move. So I probably won’t be here in 10 years. Or I could be, how knows. But if they would have started on time which was 2018 I probably could have moved in one of the buildings this year or next year.
I’m still happy I fought for this but the cost of living is causing me to leave this place just like so many others.
