I'm so ready for quarantine life to be over. We have all been doing this for at least a year and it seems like the end is almost here. I'm so ready. Plus Spring is here!
I feel like the sooner more people get vaccinated, the more we can open up. I know it'll take time though.
I've been frustrated with work because all of our residents have been vaccinated (old people), plus most of our employees and a ton of their family members. Yet, we're still hardly open for much. Got family members wanting to visit or take their loved ones out, but we have so many rules saying what they can and can't do. It's exhausting.

lol vaccine rollouts here are so slow so i'm not holding my breath
i've become one with the hermit lifestyle but omfg i do miss seeing my friends
@Aisukohi: I know that in FL a lot of people have it, but a lot of people don't and you know if they changed the rules to people with the vaccine can do this, people would just lie about having got it. But it still sucks.

Yeah, Florida has been giving the vaccine to non-residents too, which I have mixed feelings about. On the one hand, you're giving it away while others have to wait, but on the other, more vaccinated people, so yay? I'm vaccinated, only because I'm a healthcare worker. Otherwise, I'd have had to wait until a week from now to get my first dose (assuming I could secure an appointment) because starting next Monday, all 16+ persons are eligible to get it.

@pachi: Yikes I'm sorry to hear that. I heard that the US was giving some doses to Canada.
@Aisukohi: Yeah I feel you on that. We all need to get it, but there should be an order. I think it's not that bad since they would only be getting it a few weeks early, but I also try not to think about it too much because it's like a temporary problem. The vaccine rollout has gone really well in the US. Better than I would have though. I can't believe that most if the country will have their first shot by May 1st.
