Currently reading The Radleys by Matt Haig (it's a vampy book. idk how detailed as of yet but yep :) borrowed from my library)
The Mist by Stephen King. An oldie I know, but it was lying around so I picked it up. Last night I was really into it (still at the beginning and don't know anything about it) and my gf goes "Oh yeah, it's okay but it gets really lame and hokey once you find out what the fog is"

@Shark: You don't like it? I'm not one for zombie stories, but I actually liked that series.
I'm reading Gilded Cage by Vic James. It's the first in a series. It's a fantasy (my impression was YA, but I read the author labels it an adult/YA crossover). It's a modern setting with fantastical elements and set in Great Britain. It involves the concept of "Equals," people with magical abilities who oppress commoners. Commoners have to do a decade of "slave days," and the story follows two families (one of Equals, one of commoners). I find it very engaging and accessible, and the protagonists are likable.
@Lady Luna: Well to be fair I haven't gotten to any action yet. So far it's just a whiny kid in a town full of losers. xD
@Shark: omg. Lol. Yeah. The opening is lousy.
