"Uh... Adymir Farwyn." Adym managed to introduce himself, before Hal cleared his throat at Callie's question.

"Please, take a seat." he offered them. When they did, albeit with Callie doing so in a rushed and unimpressed way, Hal began.

"I will make a long story short." he said. "For starters, if there are any terms or words that you don't-" he started to say further, before Callie interrupted him.

"I speak the lingo. Get on with it." she told him, again with mostly concern in her tone.

"...very well." Hal responded.

"Ciroc Icesska is currently being held in a place called Stonehenge by this Vyran person." he told them. "Vyran had managed to absorb what we call a nexus here, and he currently has a LOT of power inside him." he warned.

"However, he's extremely vulnerable right now, what with JUST having done so." Azazel chimed in.

"Indeed." Hal confirmed. "We are mounting a rescue team, as well as a plan of attack, to storm the area as best we can, rescue Icesska, and stop Vyran from locating OTHER nexuses, absorbing them, becoming even more frighteningly powerful, and dooming this world to wither and rot." he told them further.

"We currently have an avatar of our planet on the roof of this building, and already several of her vines and leaves have shriveled and withered." he then lamented.

Callie was silent for a moment.

"Well, you have the three of us." She commented before pausing a moment.

"... or two of us." She then said before looking to Adym. Lyrei was the one who spoke though.

"You should go see if you can help the avatar." The evolis stated.

"as Mother Nature... Nature... I dunno, seems like a natural pair."

Adym looked at Lyrei and Callie for a moment, before sighing, and nodding.

"Right." he said.

"I can try and help, I guess." he admitted.

"But DON'T leave here without me." he warned them.

"I came here to help take down Vyran, and that is what I intend to do!" he declared.

"...make all the plans you want, obviously, but I AM coming with you." he insisted, before looking out the door.

"Do you need a guide to the roof?" Hal asked.

"...maybe." Adym admitted. "I can sense her, but... I don't know the building..." he admitted further.

"Wouldn't dream on it." Lyrei commented.

"I'll make sure Callie is contained until you return, if that is after we get our plans sorted." She added.

"...." Callie was silent for a moment before sighing.

"Just... do what you can, hey? Bad enough our world is in trouble, let's not have this place in trouble too."

Adym nodded in response.

"Yeah." he replied.

"Back in a bit." he told them.

Hal then got someone to escort Adym up to the roof, parting ways when they reached the location, and Adym paused when he saw what he did... saw the woman before him. He felt a mixture of awe, reverence, and horror... as he saw the damage that had been dealt to her already.

"..." he was silent, before approaching her, clearing his throat lightly, unsure as to what to say here.

She was sitting on the roof, tending to a vine that even Adym could tell was... stressed. She was trying to help it bloom, calm down, and just be happy again. When he approached, she just smiled softly, even though she wasn't facing him.

"It's not often I meet one like yourself." She commented. "Dimensional travelers really aren't a common occurrence here." As she spoke, she looked over to him.

"Hello." She then said, figuring a simple greeting would be good.

"I... I bet not." Adym responded, finally finding his voice.

"Hello, there." he then greeted her.

"I am Adymir Farwyn." he introduced himself. "But most just call me 'Adym'." he said further.

"I can sense your immense power." he then told her. "...and I can see you've been hurt recently." he went on.

"I think I may be able to help, even if temporarily." he offered, getting closer towards her, and looking at the flora she was tending to.

"I suppose one such as yourself would be able to help." She said with a light chuckle, a calm one. Despite the withering, she still seemed to be all right, not taking this too poorly or anything.

"However..." She paused a moment before sighing.

"I can tell that this realm is not doing you any favours." She told him.

"Give me your hands, please." She then asked as she turned to face him.

Adym was silent again for a moment, and then nodded.

"This... is true." he said.

"Ever since I arrived here, I've felt my magic being sapped by this world." he told her. "I suspect that is just how your world reacts to ones such as myself, Callie, Lyrei, Vyran, and Sir Icesska." he mused.

He then paused slightly as she told him to give her his hands, before getting a little closer.

"...all right..." he said quietly.

He then extended his hands towards her, wondering what she intended to do.

"You and Ciroc likely feel it the strongest." She told him, gently cupping both his hands in hers.

"You are tied to that very planet, much as I am here, and he is required for those like you to exist." She continued, proving that she had what was very likely a surprisingly good understanding of the world that Adym was from, and what it was that was happening.

"However, I cannot say specifically how effective this will be, and I certainly cannot guarantee that it will go well, but..." She paused a moment, smiling softly as her hands started to feel warm, comforting.

"Maybe this will help." She told him as he felt much like one might assume a starved plant would feel after a fresh rainfall, or being hit by the first rays of the spring sun. In short, he felt better. A lot better.

The sensation was... amazing, if he were to try and put it into words. He felt invigorated. He felt refreshed. He felt like new life was being breathed into him. And she could see the colour in his eyes reflecting that, as it was suddenly more vibrant.

"...oh... oh, my..." he then said, once she let go of his hands.

"Thank you..." he told her.

"Now... you helped me. Let ME try and help YOU." he said further.

"I was told that Vyran has absorbed a nexus, which... to my limited knowledge, is like a beneficial schism. In this realm, anyway." he continued. "If we defeat him, and he releases that power, it SHOULD find itself being reabsorbed by you. This planet." he reasoned.

"However, for right now, I think I might be able to make you feel a little better. I can see the wilting he's already caused you. I think I can help with that." he told her kindly.

She just chuckled lightly.

"Really, I will be all right." She told him honestly.

"Once that mana returns to the aether." She addded. "One nexus is not going to do any serious harm. It was a small one, as well." She paused a moment ebfore sighing.

"However, I realise you will not listen to me, so do what you will."

Adym just shook his head.

"What I do, I do out of reverence to the planet. To you." he told her.

"I may not be from here. Our connection may not be a deep or complex one. But I am a wood elf. And I am the crux of nature. I do what I can for nature, no matter WHERE I am." he said with a smile.

Then, without saying another word, he stepped closer to her... and wrapped his arms around her in a hug.

As he embraced her, she could feel an invigorating surge through her. Her wilted blooms and vines returned to health, but she could feel it was temporary.

"This is until we free that nexus from Vyran." Adym told her, still holding on for a moment more.

"I'm not sure how that works, if I'm being honest." She admitted as he stepped back.

"You, in essence, just returned my mana to me." She added.

"However, thank you. Now, go do what you need to. I will be watching, just in case you need some help."

"Well... kind of?" Adym responded.

"It's... uh... well, think of it as some kind of weird conversion from Mana to Magic to Mana again." he said. "They're... the same, effectively, but..." he went on, before pausing again and placing a hand to his head.

"...but it gives me a headache to try and put it in words." he mumbled.

"Anyway, the best thing I can do is help everyone force Vyran to release the nexus energy he absorbed." he told her.

"So I'm going to go back to the planning room." he said.

"...it was very lovely to meet you, though." he added with a respectful bow.

"I feel you will need it." She added quietly, knowing he couldn't hear her.

"And that I will lay out a rune to get us all back home." Lyrei then said. "Yes I am including Vyran and Cici in that."

"The best way to fight a crux is with other cruxes." Hal responded. "So it would only make sense that the three of you go." he reasoned.

"That being said, it seems like three might be a little small of a group." he then said. "Or that perhaps you should take someone from our world, just in case you encounter something you don't know how to deal with." he reasoned.

"After all, while this world may be similar to the other one YOU know..." he went on, looking at Callie. "It's not exact." he said.

"And the devil's in the details, they say."

"Can't argue that." Callie commented. She was calm, reasonable, but most certainly impatient. It wasn't hard to hear the concern for her father in her voice. She paused a moment before looking to Lyrei.

"Also... Cici?" She asked, her voice curious.

"What the hell is with THAT?"

"Oh? I suppose you wouldn't know. Your dad and I are actually pretty close." was Lyrei's answer.

Lyrei's answer probably had Callie's mind racing with even MORE questions, but before she could ask any of them, Adym knocked on the door and returned.

"You get those affairs in order?" Hal asked.

"Yes." Adym responded.

"And I am filled with more determination than ever before to get this done." he said.

Hal just smirked when he heard that.

"Excellent." he replied.
