"Yes." Zeke replied.

"Let me know where and when. I will bring Liv there directly." he told her.

With that, the call was ended, and she exited her office, a look of determination in her eyes.

A few seconds after she left, she saw Nate heading towards her, a small bottle in his hands.

"Oh, Dr. Edwards." he said when he noticed her.

"I found the ib-" he started to say further, before he noticed her expression.

"...is something wrong?" he asked.

Angela just sighed, heavily.

"Zeke's on his way here with Liv." She told him hoenstly.

"I know she was sick, but I didn't expect it to get worse like this." She added.

"And no, I don't know details. I will soon though."

"..." Nate was silent as he heard that.

"Right." he then said, stepping out of her way.

"Don't let me hold you up any longer." he said further.

"I'll put the bottle of ibuprofen on your desk." he finished.

"Thank you, Nate." Angela said before heading off. "When Zeke arrives, tell him 1C!" She called before turning a corner, heading to the room in question, knowing that she'd likely get there before he did.

She made sure that everything was good, as she knew that it was something that she had to do, before sighing and sending a quick text to Hal.... oin the offchance it went through.

Liv's on her way here with Zeke. I fear for her safety.

Sadly, it did as she expected - it didn't send. It some annoyance at both that and the headache she had brewing, she just shoved her phone back in her pocket.

No sooner had she shoved the phone back in her pocket, did Zeke rush into the room, with Liv in his arms.

And already, Angela could see that the call from earlier was no cruel prank. It was not over-concern, it was valid. She looked sick. And a lot sicker than she had looked, even before Angela left to tend to Hollie.

Whatever was happening to her, was ramping up alarmingly quickly.

Zeke then laid her down on the bed, and stepped back, allowing Angela to work.

And she could see he was feeling helpless and angry about it. He didn't know how to help Liv. And he hated it.

Angela froze when she saw her daughter before shaking her head. She had to get to work after all, regardless of whether or not she wanted to deal with this.

Her head was pounding, but she managed to shove it aside to tend to Liv, getting Zeke to help out where she could.

Sometime later, Angela had managed to get her daughter to a steady point, before heading off. She made her way down to where she was told that Hal and Hollie were staying in. When she knocked, however, she was met with silence before heading upstairs to Hal's office. She ignored the receptionist and just knocked on the door.

Despite the receptionist's protests, Angela kept knocking, until they heard her comm go off.

"It's all right. I can hear it's Dr. Edwards, and remember, she has the authority to see me without appointment, as long as I'm not already in an appointment." Hal's voice reminded her.

"Send her in." he said.

Angela didn't delay, and opened the door, stepping inside.

"...what is it?" Hal asked her, concern in his tone.

"Liv's here." Angela told him honestly.

"She's nearly dead, Hal..." She added trailing off slightly before sighing, heavily.

"What the hell is going on? What you know of it anyway. I can't get Liv to a better state. It's as if something is actively working against me."

"I see." Hal responded.

"I can't tell you what's going on, Angela." he told her. "Because I don't know." he said. "I'm trying to figure it out as we speak." he continued.

"However, Hollie was told by one of her draydin friends that something is happening to the planet itself." he went on.

"Also... she's nearly dead, and it looks like YOU may be heading down that road as well." he then commented.

"Because... quite frankly... you look sick as well."

"I just have a blossoming headache." Angela told him honestly.

"But Liv is in dire straits, and will be set up here for... I don't even know how long." Hal knew her, and knew her well.

She was somehow managing to keep her emotions in check enough to not break down, but he could tell - even with her look a right mess - that it wasn't easy, at all.

Hal was silent once more for another moment, and then sighed.

'JUST a blossoming headache?' he thought. 'My dear, you're headed for a crash, and from the looks of it, it's not too far off.' he mentally said further, before shaking his head.

He had a feeling she wasn't going to be hearing any of that, as she was too focused on Liv. And he couldn't blame her. It distressed HIM to hear that the girl was in such bad condition right now.

"She can stay as long as she needs." he told her.

"Whatever you think will help her, let me know. I will do all I can to try and get it here." he said further.

"We'll do all we can to make sure she survives this, Angela." he then assured the woman.

'And yourself as well.' he added silently.

Angela was silent, just met Hals' gaze. He could see the mental turmoil in her gaze.

"Thank you, so much, for not having an issue with her being here." There was definitely gratitude in her gaze.

"Just... thank you. I need to get back down there." She added.

"Ah, also, how is Hollie? Is she doing all right?"

Hal sighed quietly.

"She's recovering." he said.

"Still needs her staff for balance, but she can move on her own without needing me for additional support." he said further.

"So that's good." he reasoned.

"Odds are she'll be 100% in a bit. Thank you." he then told her.

"Now... do what you need to for Liv."

"At least she's doing well." She commented before shaking her head lightly.

"All I can do is hope that Liv does too..." She sighed, heavily.

"Either here, or the dorm Hollie and I reserved." he said.

"If I'm not answering my phone in the office, try the dorm." he reasoned.

"Otherwise... probably the cafeteria." he shrugged.

"Because mobile communications seem to just not be working." he grumbled.

"Making this FAR more complicated than it already IS."

Angela just sighed.

"I know." was all she said before bidding him farewell and leaving. As she left, she winced lightly from the pain in her head. It wasn't bad enough to seriously get in the way of life so far, but it was definitely bad enough that it most certainly hurt. A lot.

She made her way back down to the medwing with a sigh.

Hollie sighed as she knocked on the door, hooking her blonde hair behind an ear. She was still needing her staff, but it had been a couple of days since the attack, and she wanted to check in, make sure that things were all right on this end of the line.

Her wince as she left did not go unnoticed by Hal, and he sighed again when he saw it, but said nothing until she leaves.

"...this is going to get way worse before it gets better." he muttered.

"And this entire place is going to be under SO much stress..." he growled, not looking forward to the immediate future.

She was waiting for about 15 seconds, in the massive winds, before the door was answered, and Vincent looked more than a little surprised.

"Hollie?" he said, before stepping out of the way.

"Please. Come in, come in!" he insisted.

"The weather is FAR too frightful to linger outside."

"It really is." Hollie agreed with a light sigh as shse stepped in.

"That's actually why I'm here." She added after another second or two.

"Felt the need to come and make sure you're doing all right, all things considered."

"Well, I'm doing all right." Vincent said. "For the most part." he went on, before noticing that she was putting a lot of weight on her staff. More than usual, anyway. It caused him to wonder.

"Anyway." he then mumbled.

"Let me take your staff for you." he offered. "I'll put it where I usually do." he added with a small smile.

This was, of course, to see if she needed the staff right now.

And if she did, he would have questions.

"I would really much rather not." Hollie commented with a sigh.

"One, I kind of need it to stay up as well as I am - long story short, the draydin's aren't doing so well - and two, with the current state of the world, I get the feeling that I wouldn't be faring too well without the mana boost I get from it." She added simply, plainly, and bluntly.

"I just stopped by to see if you were doing all right, as I worry about you. Especially with what is going on."
