"Apparently they'd been planning to offer it for awhile." Hazel commented as she made her way over to where Zeke was.

"... but... I am sorry I scared you." She said simply, sincerely.

"I never intended to do that. I'd thought if I'd waved... it would have shown I was all right."

"Yeah, I'm okay." Hazel confirmed with a nod.

"If it were possible for me to have night terrors.... well, I probably would be from that stint in the future." She added with a light sigh.

"However, I can't, so I gotta just deal. I'll be all right though, I lived through that, I can live through this." She added with a chuckle.

".... What about you? Are you all right?" She asked, concern to her voice.

Kiah was silent as she stood in the wreckage of the room that she'd had the research in, waiting for her cousin to answer the phone.

"Lindsay... we've got problems." She said simply after he'd answered.

"... it's gone. It's all gone."

"This room has been destroyed." Kiah said, some fire to her voice.

"And Ilias is in the medwing with a pretty fucking bad concussion." She added.

"From what I can gather, this room was the target, and if I find out who it was...." she trailed off, obviously fuming. Lindsay knew though, it wasn't the research so much as it was the fact that they'd hurt Ilias.

"It seems he'll be fine, yeah." Kiah answered before sighing, there was a lot of emotion in that breath though.

"I don't know why the research was destroyed. I ... you know I wasn't entirely interested in it in the first place, but ... Why? Like... all I can think of, is that maybe it was one of the angels ore demons I know. I don't know and it actually pisses me off." She added.

"But... at least Ilias will be all right, if nothing else. However, Angela's keeping him in the medwing for a couple days to make sure. Apparently that was quite a blow he took."

When Lindsay delivered his lie, Kiah just let out a breath of relief.

"... You... you have no idea how relieved I am to hear you say that." She admitted after a few seconds.

"Absolutely no idea. I knew I couldn't stop you or change your mind, so to hear you change your mind yourself.... thank you so much."

"Yeah... yeah." Kiah agreed with a nod as she looked around the destoryed room.

".... so much expensive equipment lost. I swear, if I find who it was, I will throttle them for every dime they have."

She was sitting at the table, waiting, but not for long. When she heard his footsteps, she just looked up.

"Hey there." She said to the dark skinned man who was approaching.

"Why the change of plans? You were leaning toward cancelling, what with Hazel."

"I..... Huh. All right, that's something I hadn't expected." She admitted after a moment.

"But... I'm really happy you're here. We... I.... Well, we need to talk.... About one of us moving." She told him honestly.

"Or, perhaps, hiring a live in nanny."

"I don't know what your thoughts on the matter are... but I've been checked, tested, everything. Bloodwork doesn't lie." She continued.

"I'm pregnant, and the mana signature is a mix of mine... and yours."
