"Apology accepted." he said.

"Anyway, come and see me when you're allowed to be up and about." he told her, standing up.

"We'll have some things to discuss." he continued.

"...also, thank you." he then said.

"I'm sorry you got hurt the way you did while on this mission." he apologised.

"...so yeah, have you come up with any ideas for a replacement?" Jake asked Hal, as the two of them chatted in his office.

"Matter of fact, I have." Hal replied.

"Oh?" Jake asked. "Promising new applicant or something?" he asked him.

Hal just smirked.

"Something like that." he responded cryptically.

"Knock knock." Izea said as she knocked on the open door. When they looked over, they saw the goblin with shades on, despite being indoors. It wasn't something that was hard to understand though, cojnsidering the damage.

"Sharp, you said you wanted to talk to me. Want me to come back later?" She asked, her voice curious.

"'Cause I can. Easily."

"Not at all." Sharp replied.

"Take a seat." he told her, gesturing to the empty chair beside Jake.

When she did, Jake looked at her and sighed quietly.

"You're looking much better." he said.

"Though those glasses DO hide the consequences of working with that asshole." he then growled.

Sharp just sighed quietly.

"ANYWAY." he said, clearing his throat.

"I heard that my daughter and Leonard visited you in regards to your eye." he commented.

"Is there a cybernetic replacement for in it your future?" he asked.

"Yep." She asnwered.

"Gonna be a bit though, as there's a lot of finangling for it." She added. "So I'm stuck with this - which you called it, by the way - for a bit. I think I was told to expect 2-3 weeks." She paused before looking over to Jake.

"You don't even know the half of it, Jakey." she said with a smirk.

"I'm sure too many people would be too fascinated by the result. It'd rather not field all those questions." She paused before shrugging as she sat back in the chair.

"Not too bad though, overall."

"Good to hear." Sharp replied.

"Now... the reason I called you here." he said.

"We have someone that's been working security here for about 12 years or so, but they've recently gotten married and have decided that, instead of their significant other uprooting their life in another country, they'll be moving THERE, and taking a security position at THAT particular branch of the Unit. More local travel, I suppose." he explained.

Jake could already see where Hal was going with this.

"We'll need someone to replace them when they leave us... relatively soon." Sharp continued.

"And you've been adamant about paying me back for all that I've done for you." he then said further.

"You up for a job?" he asked.

"Of course I am." Izea answered after a fraction of a second. There was no hurriness to her voice though, she was literally speaking true.

"Been looking for work while here, for that matter." She added.

"But... well... no one seems to want to hire a goblin, or a kid." she lamented with a sigh before shaking her head.

"Now. you sure? I'm a small shit, and that could be a problem in the future. I dunno. Wouldn't you want someone... well... bigger?"
