Wonder what it was about this weekend that caused the cats to run outside and be gone for a while.
My own cat got out and was gone for 4 days. He only just returned about an hour ago.

My mom's cat had sooooo many litters and wasn't a good mother cat at all.

This is exactlyWe were letting her go in and out as she pleased, mostly because there are so many holes in my house she can sneak out of. So we lost that fight with her. But normally she sticks very close to home and doesn't meander all that much.
