As Hal spoke, Violet was curious, a little apprehensive, but definitely curious, as to where he was going with that. When he finally asked his question though, she froze. Her breath even cuaght in her throat.

"I.... what?" She managed to choke out after a few seconds.

"We have recently come across someone who claims to be from such a place." Hollie answered. "Yet we can find nothing about the location in any of our resources, neither his nor mine."

"Do either of you know something?"

"Really?" Hollie asked, her voice surprised.

"We happen to have a visitor from that world here. Is there any chance at all you two could help him get home?" She then asked.

Violet, meanwhile was silent, stunned.

"I.... who?" Violet asked after a moment or two.

Violet was silent for a few seconds before nodding.

"I... " She started, seeming to be thinking about it for a few seconds.

"If... if he is who he says he is... then he's royalty." She said after another couple of seconds.

"King of Caeryn."

"... Why?" Violet asked after a moment or two, before she could stop herself.

"And how...? We're so far removed... it's amazing that Em and I survived OUR trip, and I'm reasonably certain that he didn't go through any black holes." She said before pausing.

"Hell, I'm reasonably certain that the chances of ending up in the same world through a hole is ... infintesimally small."

Violet was silent for a moment.

"That'd be... fuck, what was his name..." She muttered, snapping her fingers.

"Oh whatever. yeah. Someone is collecting cruxes, and it isn't good." She told him simply, honestly.

"The problem is, that if one person has them all... Or an amount I can't recall for the moment, then it would throw the entire world out of balance and adaminias plus their sister world would fall." Violet said.

"They would, in essence collide, abd that virus that we'd inadvertently brought with us would destroy that world too."

Violet just sighed, heavily.

"Probably because of us." She commented.

"What do you mean?" Hollie asked. Violet just sighed, again, before meeting the blondes gaze.

"we're from there. we jumped through the portal. Chances are, we tore the hole that he then found himself travelling through."

"To be honest, we didn't even know what would happen if we were to go through the hole." Violet commented.

"Turns out it was a portal, and it spat us out so far removed from home, that we can't return." She added with a sigh.

"However, that may have cracked something, at least our continued presence may have." She continued.

"And that may be how he got here. I don't know, though." She finished with, with a heavy sigh.

Suddenly, she froze, her hand flying up to the pendant she wore, that she'd arived with. Before it reached it though, the glamour she'd been wearing broke, shattered. It broke away from her in a manner akin to shattered glass, leaving a rather different looking woman standing there.

It didn't long, only a couple of seconds before Violet's expression hardened.

"Very true." She said, adopting a far more defensive posture. She looked ready to bolt, and would leave her brother behind if she had to.

She was ready to fight for her survival.

"Why? So you can string me up like the others?" Violet asked, a hiss to her voice. Emerald was probably the only one that could understand what she was thiking, why she was thinking it.

Where they were from, that revelation of hers would have her put to death. Having any record of it would mean her death.

Which meant she didn't want to have a record of it anywhere, due to how she knew that it would lead to her death - normally. She knew that this world was overall more accepting, but that didn't mean she didn't have her natural instincts and reflections like this.
