@Wildfire: I didn't back down, but what she's said is giving me thoughts of moving hence the SSI application. My best friend thinks it's a stupid idea but.. I guess it could be a rash decision.

Seb, there's nothing wrong with setting up options for yourself. If nothing else, do the application and then sit on it for a couple of days while you think about and process the discussion you had, your options, etc. Nothing says if you fill it out that you have to submit it. And it might help you feel better in the short term. Or, it might give you experience doing it if you need to do this in the future.

Ok guys, I'm going to head off - at least for a little while. I have dishes/dinner stuff to do and although it's only 6:30 here right now, it feels more like 9:30 to me. I'll be around tomorrow, trying to get more work done on my projects and current deadlines.
... and I'll probably be back, via phone, in a little bit, anyway... because 'gotta get those last few event things', right?!! XD

You guys seem to have drastically different plans for today!
I am trying to get some work done (as always), but I'm also trying to finalize the menu for Thanksgiving and trying to figure out if I have to go shopping again or not, I have a logo to finalize and get ready for use, and I should probably think about cleaning up the house some. And I'm ... not quite tired, but not "up and at 'em" motivated either. And my son is doing his best to distract me with Swamp People on the TV. XD
