@Totalanimefan: LOL - I agree. I think they did our wedding cake too? I can't remember now - it's been a long time! The prices aren't horrible, IMO, and the customer service and atmosphere are really good. It doesn't take much to "beat" Winn Dixie - LOL!

@Wildfire: Customer Service at Publix is always 10/10. Only place that is just as good as them for CS is Whole Foods, but the prices are more there.
I also miss Publix Heath bar cookies! Those are always great.
The few birthdays I was in CA for, I honestly didn't know what dessert to have for my birthday since there is no Publix out west. First birthday I forgot because I was so busy moving and working, another years I had different mini pies from a local baker, I just got a cake from Whole Foods or I would have a box cake. None were as good as a White Cake with Strawberries that I would ask for every year for me bday.
There isn't a Publix in Northern VA, but I think they do have some in the south. I'm too far away for that still.
