like plenty of ppl do have cats/dogs in the city and in apartments, tho at the end of the day it's whenever you're ready for it i guess :3

i took french in hs , i can read a shampoo bottle lol but probably not hold a convo
spanish would have been a lot more useful though! they didn't give u a choice they just put u in one or the other haha

LOL! Yes, you might be overthinking the pet thing a little. I had a cat when I lived in the city and it was fine. They are definitely lower maintenance than dogs

Yes, exactly with the languages. I had a choice in high school, but there was no place to really practice speaking it, so I lost it. Spanish, I could probably use, except for the dialect differences maybe, but I have zero desire to learn it for some reason.

oh yeah true, wo practice it's hard to maintain in a real way
spanish would be super useful in the states, it's def a v popular language where i am and i hear it all the time in my neighborhood!

as is polish interestingly lol but i think that's v specific to my area and not as common in general

I really want a dog/puppy, but right now where I'm living we can't have one. It's fine though, because right now I also don't have the time for one. Hopefully when we get our own house, we'll have more time so we can finally get one.

For now I'll enjoy my two cats and hedgehog. <3
