"Hi everyone! I've been soo busy helping Vanora organize things around town that I've kinda neglected my shop!
I'm very sorry about that, but... um, I have an idea in mind for a fun contest anyone can participate in to
help us all get away from these gloomy vibes!
You're interested?! Super! I know it may be a little strange, but what if we all took some interesting photos of
Voltra in the... d-dark? A blackout is crazy rare here and I bet we'll find some amazing stuff that just wouldn't
show up with the lights on! Feel free to also snap pictures of how you've been living without electricity
since... yeah, I miss baking. A lot. But Vanora keeps me company, and I couldn't ask for anything more!
Oh! I nearly forgot.
Since the city'll... be um p-pitch black for the most part, let's take black and white photos, or there's
another word for it. Hmm! What was that? Monochromatic? Yeah, that's the one!
That's what we'll do, then! Black and white pictures of Voltra... in the dark, heheh.
Wait, did you hear that? I could have sworn there was a knock on the door just now, but... oh well!"

and how well the photo fits the theme of being in a blackout. She will choose three favorites from each category.
To submit a photo, take a picture relating to a blackout experience, and upload it to an image site like Imgur.
Then link it in this thread for Vivienne to fawn over.

■ Best Contrast (or best balance of black and white)

Oh this is so fun... Everyone looks so festive in their costumes! It reminds me of back home... *giggles* And thanks for giving me cute outfits, I'd love to wear both of those!

*giggles* Oh my gosh! I never thought I'd see Static show off so much leg! But I have to say, I always wondered what they'd look like with each other's hairstyles, they can really pull it off... This one's a lot of fun!

Hehe, were you scared? I hope so! Because we’re approaching the reaping time, and it’s the scariest time of year! Or, at least, it was back home--and I swear I’ve seen a reaper here, even, so it must be true in Voltra, too!
Back home, we used to have a tradition where we’d dress up--my mom used to tell me it was to keep a reaper from recognizing me if he saw me! But mostly it was probably because it was super fun. The costumes were amazing back home, and my whole family went all out with the spooks and costumes and parties and candy and...gosh, I’m feeling really homesick, suddenly…
I have an idea! Let’s get the rest of the shopkeepers to celebrate with me, this year! Can you help me get them into costumes?

Welcome to Vivienne’s Spooky Costume Contest! It’s the Reaping, and Vivienne wants to celebrate the season in traditional Sound style--with awesome costumes! Draw, paint, sculpt, or otherwise depict your favorite NPC in whatever costume you think would be appropriate! Vivienne will choose her top three favorites based on how well the piece fits the character, how creative the idea is, and how well executed the overall piece is! Put your talents to the test with this spooky contest!
The deadline for submissions is November 4, 2017. Vivienne will pop in on the day of the deadline do to a last call for entries a few hours before she closes the contest, and provide a specific time (or she’ll ask someone to do it for her--it really depends how busy she gets at the store!)
To submit your piece for the costume contest, upload the piece itself or a picture, if it’s traditional or a sculpture, to a site like Imgur and link it here in the thread. Make sure you quote Vivienne’s submission post, or she might not see your entry!
The winner will recieve 1000 Ohms and a copy of the mysterious rare from the November/December 2017 Crates.
The runner up will win 750 Ohms.
The runner runner up will win 500 Ohms.

Hello, everyone! I just wanted to check around--I'm sure it's nothing, and I've just misplaced things, but I noticed that a few of my spice bottles are missing, and Valentina was missing a few tools when she was working yesterday! I, um, I don't think we'd have a thief in Voltra, or anything, but um, just in case, keep an eye out, okay? Like I said, it's...it's probably nothing. I can't think why anyone would want to take my sage, and Valentina's workshop is a bit, well, messy, so she probably just misplaced the saw, but...
Um, but you know, if you do happen to find my sage, let me know? Maybe I took it with me accidentally and left it somewhere?
