Shadami:

I almost forgot that there was a picture thing to enter xD I should think about it and do that.

My holiday traditions are a bit strange. For Christmas I would go to my grandmother's. We often set her tree up sometime in December. Build snowmen. Play with my cousin who is three weeks older than me. I can still smell the pine tree and hear the laughter as we hung up ornaments and string lights. Grandma loved having the lights on all day and night.
We would play board games on the floor beneath it. And on Christmas day all the adults (all 8 of my grandmother's kids and their spouses) we're in the kitchen cooking. And us few kids were hanging out doing our things. And wishing to get through dinner just to open the presents. As grandma's memory started to go... Fewer family members showed up each year. . .
Now she's gone and I don't know what to do for Christmas because it wasn't my tradition it was hers.

In February though! My 4-5 days of gift giving is my favorite. I try to throw a party and cook good food for friends and family. I try to donate to good causes and help out others however I can.

Wow extending the commemorative season all into February! I'm impressed! I'm sure your grandma would be very proud of the strong spirit you possess and keeping her good will going on.
@Mousy: I relate to the dillema and it hurts my heart knowing I'll be NOT picking three trust me.
Hmm, are you voting for Kitty one or two? I think one but you seem undecided. :)
*Pets the marbled boy who plops in my lap and plays with my curls*'
@Fielkun: She really is a darling, and its not like I can't relate to loving food haha. However her food obsession
does sound serious, as she will jump and beg relentlessly and try to steal from human plates. Then again, that
sounds like it might be charming too? haha. I'll count your vote in!
Also everyone feel free to ask me questions. This is a big decision and I really want to leave here feeling confident about my choice.
Hint: Flower-Vegetable in part of the name, or so it sounds.

I realize there should be a space in there that isn't present.
Guess we want the last one unfairly hard, huh?
6 and 7 left!
Looks like Hadsvich Newfound number 8, haha!
Was that too cheesy a joke?
Three left to solve, thanks so much everyone for your help. I'd be lost without you. (6 7 8)

Opening the door to Voltra's Animal Rescue, a bell chimes off above the frame and immediately Vivi is beaming at the sight.
Several play pen areas with dogs of varying breeds, ages and sizes were throughout the large room barking their own seasons
greetings to her. She kneels to pet one of the more excited dogs, whose snorts beg her to laugh.

"Glad to see you here, Vivienne." Vontell extends a hand to help Vivienne upright. The dog she had
been patting protests by trying to scratch at her leg, she gives one last apologetic pat before moving forward with Vontell.
"Same to you and of course Mr. Leo!" Leo squeals gently in content before burrowing himself back
into the warmth of Vontell's arms.

"So yeah, I guess the woman who runs this shelter unfortunately caught a stomach bug. I was worried I would be the only
one with time to volunteer today! Though I am sure I would have managed being experienced with Leo and all.
"
Vontell snuggled
his face into Leo's but placed him down into a small pet bed and grabbed a clipboard off of the desk.
"Well actually, I was already supposed to make a stop here today anyway! So this all works out pretty nifty."
Vivienne can't contain her excitement as she twiddles her fingers around and her smile unwavering while bouncing up on her tippy toes every few moments. "Oh? Was somebody planning to gift one of these precious animals a home this Solstice?" Vontell scans
over the list of tasks on the clipboard but looks back up to Vivienne who appears she is about to implode. YUP!
Her sudden crescendo in volume startled several of the animals, causing them to blare off in barks of competitive volumes. Embarrassed,
Vivi gives an apologetic looks as Vontell chuckles and guides her into the cat room for more peace and quiet.

"I'm happy for you Viv, am I to assume this is still a secret from Vanora?" Vivienne rapidly nods her head up and down, her
smile and wide eyes returned before being startled by a cat who had leaped for her shoulders. "Ah! whoa there!"
A hearty laugh escapes both Vivi and Vontell. He reaches to remove the cat from her shoulders but the cat protests and bounces off her instead and back up into it's cat tree. "Well, I guess we won't win them all over. Shall we get started on this list so that we may decide which creature you'll be adding to your family?" Opening her bag and unloading supplies from her salon, Vivienne lines them up neatly and places a glove on.
"Ready when you are, Vontell!"

@Lithinel: Oh! That's really nice of you to say! You do seem very sweet, they're right about that! And don't worry! I'll answer most anything!

Question: What is your favorite holiday treat?

Ooh! I enjoy baking cakes, but for the holidays nothing beats cupcakes! It's so fun decorating them with all the bright colors! And of course, they're always tasty what's not to like!

Question: If you could have any super-power what would it be?

I'd definitely want to be able to stop time! I could get so much done! I wouldn't miss another show because I was late either, heehee...

Question: What animal would you say you most relate to, and why?

Oh! Good question, um... m-maybe something cute? Like a baby cougar! It... it has spots like my freckles? Haha, well... they grow out of them unlike me! And hey, they can be a little dangerous too, so watch out Voltra! Heehee, I wouldn't hurt any of you, don't worry!

Question: What is your favorite part of your job?

I really enjoy being able to do creative and beautiful styles on everyone's hair! There's nothing more satisfying than seeing a smile out of someone from getting a good hair cut!

Question: What is your favorite color on Voltra?

What a tough choice! A lot of the colors I see everyone in are so beautiful, but hmm, if I had to pick I'd definitely go with Lilac!

@Priestess of Pie: Oh! What a smart move, hehe! I'll get to mine right away!

Question: What made you want to cut hair?

Well! Haha, it's all thanks to Van! When I moved here, I helped at her shop... I saw how much people shined with something small like accessories, and it just hit me that I could help too! Hair is so important in a look you know! And thanks to Van I managed to push myself into it, now I love it! It was a rocky start... um hehe, a lot of bad hair days were had in the process... bless you Van, I owe her so much! I'll uh... I'll.... Well! I'm really glad I get to do this for a living!

Day 3: Vivienne prepares herself and lets out a sigh to calm any nerves that would impede her ability.
On the third night of Solstice, Panthalassa gave to thee:
Quenching of Thirst

She turns to Vanora with a relieved smile, and Vanora gives a thumbs up.

[Found in the hollowed shell of a helicopter, in a container of emergency supplies that never made it to their delivery. A journal belonging to Ginger Mavis of the Metal Realm from the war on Realms.]

If you asked me when I was a child what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would have told you assertively: “A teacher!” Full conviction. No doubts. I wonder how many adults remember what their ideals as children were? Why and when did we stop pursuing those dreams? Were they impossible? Did you prioritize money? Perhaps your family pressured you out of it, much like mine. They were happy that I was educated but preferred me to play a more domestic role, and find a rich husband. I was lucky they were accepting of me even obtaining employment, but it was by the job of my father’s choosing.

I grew up to be commercial model for the machine shows. The latest gadgets paired with a beautiful girl is a guaranteed seller. I was very high up in my field thanks to my parents genetics….and to be honest, I was on a conceited high. Strong, independent and beautiful. Smart to boot! I didn’t have a care in the world back then. After I had so effectively silenced the passionate child within, all that mattered was pleasing the folks and pleasing the customers eyes..that is...until one day... I noticed a shift in my profession. What went from a multitude of gadget varieties and the occasional weapon….eventually phased into exclusively only weapons. Why?
Such a naive question I asked myself back then. Had I maintained my passions I wouldn’t have felt so jarred and smacked at what was to come...

At first I carried on my job like nothing. Touting all sorts of poses with the newest, fastest and deadliest weapons. Mechanical and magical worlds synthesizing into a competition of casualties. I was a very selfish person at the time…and reality didn’t truly sink in until my own family was impacted by this war- my brother…. who was studying in Electric at the time…was a casualty of combat on the way back home for the holidays...his loss...was great. He was the only person I ever went to. The thought of hanging a ribbon up with his name and calling it a day? Disgraceful. I needed to do better. I needed TO BE better.

I quit my job, and I enlisted to volunteer emergency humanitarian services. Wanna talk about humbling? Go from being an elite weapons model, spending the morning making sure my lip liner had as sharp an edge as my eye liner and then switching it up to holding a bottle of water up to the mouth of a struggling to survive child. War is ugly and knowing I ever marketed for it makes me sick to the stomach. Metal was a show horse without loyalty. Gave weapons to the biggest spender, not those who needed the most help…

Every day I risk my life on this job, delivering water and food to stranded families in combat zones... and I wouldn’t change a thing. The overwhelming sense of duty to these children reminds me so much of my passions to be a teacher. Turns out my greatest teacher would be my brother. Whoever gets the pleasure of someday reading this; don’t wait to change. Don’t wait for something awful to finally shake you up enough. Get that momentum...before it is too late…. On a planet mostly water and plenty of resources to purify it, there is no excuse for any human being to be thirsty! GINGER MAVIS here! I got my choppa, and I got your watta! Haha! Gotta make myself laugh in these trying times somehow...

Ahh.
I want a hundred of each! Then again, I think the mess might be a bit much.
So maybe just one. Of each.

Thanks for sharing this adorableness, Vamp!

@Zuzu: Wow, that's soo cool! You made Frizz and Static super cute! Thank you so much for the talented entry.

@Auxillatrix: She busts out laughing before getting even a word out

O-oh my, I wasn't expecting that! I'm sorry, but it's close to what actually happened in the past. After some... heheh, "incidents," we'll call them, Van bought me some lifelike wigs that really helped me out!

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed towards this scrapbook! I couldn't have done it without you, so you're the best! I'm going to close this now while I think on which three I really like, and definitely get the results out on the 15th!
