@Alexia: Ikr? When my dad told me she said that i was like "uh...no?" I've had adhd since i was at least 5 or 6.
If i haven't outgrown it at 28, i probably won't. XD
Plus it's genetic as my dad has it.

it's hard going from dependent to independent for me.
I have a pretty protective parent so now im learning just to manage on my own.
@Alexia: agreed. quite frankly i think they just don't have empathy for us. at all.
they've been like this even before i was born. always harrassing my family for no reason.
so we're done with it.

but art is meant to be fun.
I try to mix both just So I'm not burning myself out.

@Alexia: it's mostly my dad and sister. I blocked them from seeing my artwork online or interacring with me at all. i didnt even give them my new phone number when i got a new phone. but we're at the final straw now. we are constantly berated for not having a traditional life like getting a traditional job, going to college, moving out by age 18, etc.
we are a close family who went through huge traumas together. even when my mom passed they wanted us to just get over it. it's only been a year.

@goth: yup. just getting the fundamentals down first before stylizing it so then you have a good grasp of how it works.
studies on style and painting hair is probably the best way. it's just trial and error.

@goth: honestly same. I finished some OC work and I kinda hate it...
that's what makes it hard, hair has so much and so many styles to paint it as. the only important thing is the shadows and highlights. but there are so many ways to paint it.

but i am so thrilled to move out. i even have like my own board of what i want my place to look
and the kind of furniture i want. I'm just so jazzed about it.
