@Synth:
Oh nooo D:
I'm sorry you had to experience Lenovo at its best. Although I'm glad if my warnings can help prevent a repeat the next time you get a computer!
I have experienced their tablets and my partner's laptop before finding a chaotic amount of reviews stating that they are, in a nutshell, a scam. Its almost like they are made to break if you use them for any gaming purposes!

Alienware is great, but it IS full of fluff software that isn't necessary and its more expensive. And also, they're Dell. I dont like Dell.

So far I'm pretty impressed with my iBuypower. They have great feedback that I've seen for being a good competitor at a lower cost. If I got another Alienware or Acer, I'd end up spending a lot more on their names and fluff softwares. But this one is pretty straight forward for the most part. The most jarring thing is I forgot we're past windows 10 now, I didn't expect to boot up to a whole new OS :vanora_xd:

Drink plenty of water and rest well! I hope these will be mild cases for you all.
I havent had covid since christmas 2019, right before everything blew up (I thought it was pneumonia but no taste/smell lol)
If I have I must be asymptomatic so I wouldn't know :vanora_stunned: Everyone at work has had it recently but I've not felt any different yet

gotta love the use of stock photos on amazon

Posted in recommend vacuums to me lmao Posted 2 years ago

My cat did a long hard sniff at my bedroom carpet and reminded me--I really need a vacuum

But I've had experiences with choosing shitty vacuums that never work well.
One time I got a vacuum that someone recommended to me that was like $60 (if that much) and it was AMAZING in every way, but I cant remember what it was. was like 6 years ago ;A;

I dont want anything huge/heavy cause this granny's got arthritis but also not anything expensive
but also not something that will be too weak to be worth it
my eyes are going crossed at reviews

help
:vanora_upsidedown:

something that can go over hard floor would be a bonus cause i hate sweeping
most my home is hard floor so id pay a bit extra for that lmao

what kind do you use? :O

we've been wanting to get a second computer for a while so that we can play FFXIV together, or so my partner can work on his music WHILE I draw on my desktop. We've just been sharing my computer all this time. (he has a "gaming" laptop from before I met him but its a Lenovo. They're a scam, dont buy their computers. He didn't know)

I've been hesitant on buying a whole new computer at the price they cost, for my partner who is also still just learning how to maintain them. So I gotta like, inspect it every so often to make sure its not crammed with malware :vanora_xd:

We decided finally that I will simply buy myself a new computer and he can use my old alienware!
By old I mean I've had it 4 years, but its a pretty strong one and runs actually better than day 1 (originally had a broken software for the lights on it that I had to stomp into oblivion cause it caused more problems than good lmaoo)

So, behold

I pick this baby up after work today!
I've only messed with iBuypower pcs briefly in the past and I only hear good things about them. My job has made me s i c k of Dell, so I didn't really wanna spend the price for another alienware, even if they're good. I rather try something new this time :D
i7, 16GB, RTX 2060 (my alienware is 1070), SSD+HDD. Really, everything is almost the same as my alienware, its just a bigger graphics card!

I M E X C I T E D

@Totalanimefan:
Me toooo
I've gotten josh so addicted to asian food in general. When I first met him he barely experienced any of it. and I'm like dude, ramens my favorite, let me show you XD
and now he eats it as often as I do, among other delicious things he's discovered through my cravings

@Totalanimefan:
It was at first, but I met some of them before so it was pleasant catching up with the company director. He rooted me on personally back when I was moving to TX and looked happy to see me doing well here. My company is full of really kind people lol
Unless you do dumb things
*glances at my store manager*
but I'm not responsible for any issues going on in the store so I just sat aside and ate chocolate with my regional manager (who was also probably nervous) :vanora_xd:

11 more ohms and I would've gotten it
:vanora_xd:
all 1's!
just ignore the 3 online number

Maybe I'll have good luck in the land of voltra this week

@Totalanimefan:
YUP
and then today EVEN MORE BIG BOSSES CAME IN
big boss man and regional boss man came in for day 2 and they poured in like 5 other corporate names with them. They looked like a mafia :vanora_xd:
Def possibly lost 1lb to running around in a 15 min time window to catch up on paperwork I didn't finish yesterday, before they come in. We had a slight heads up from their pilot who arrived first lmaoo

they're super nice people tho so the visit was fun

@Miss Sandman:
Yes, that is my intention <3 I'll see with my Dr if a non-hormonal pill might be a good option for me. Given that there aren't other causes to my weight gain

@koneko:
Yes, thanks for reminding me. I should definitely make sure there isn't something else causing this. ANd you're correct, there's nothing inherently wrong with being overweight. I dont look at myself and think "man I look unhealthy". I just recognize that somethings strange about this.
My biggest thing (aside from obv I wanna be sure that I'm healthy) is I start to feel my back starts to roll in places, in ways it never did before because I'm starting to flesh out there. I already roll a bit under my bra in the front if I sit or lean forward at all. Feeling my skin crease is distracting and massively uncomfortable to me, in a physical way. Like, not in a "how I look" way but like its uncomfortable feeeeeling it. If that makes sense? Its like how it is when a sock stitching bunches up under your pinky toe--its just real annoying.
I have already had to buy bigger bras and now I feel like I need to size up again cause of these rollllllss but I'd rather shave the excess off :vanora_sweat:

Hmm, yeah that makes sense about the muscle gain bit. I always relied on walking a lot cause I used to walk a TON before I could drive, and that was the only time in my life I had abs so I assumed I was doing something right lmaoo but maybe I can come up with some at-home exercises that can focus on my core, making that stronger. My abs are long gone and I feel like i slouch more cause my belly muscles are just not as strong as they used to be haha

Anyway, all this advice in here is super super helpful and motivating ;v;

@Totalanimefan:
haha no worries! I'm a bit brain foggy too
and i went into work today to find the big corporate boss man is here along with my regional manager. so maybe I'm getting some exercise by scrambling to fix broken adjustable bases and fix inventory bins :vanora_upsidedown:

@Count Trashula:
Thank you for the suggestions!! Of course, I will absolutely take the medicine up with my doctor. I just found one that I could at least schedule an online consult with (so hard finding a Dr here that accepts new patients rn! kinda bonkers) so I'll be taking this subject with me for that. I'm excited to see what advice they may give!

But either way, it sounds like you have some healthy tips in there even without weight loss being a problem. I do think that a lot of this advice is doable in some shape or form, even just for the sake of delicious healthy lifestyle.
Althouuuugghh, maybe I'll have to follow up on whatever happens when I try to not add creamers to my coffee :vanora_xd: I might start making unique noises from how bitter it is
Only reason I haven't turned to the caffeinated sparking waters is because of how MUCH caffeine they have and the prices. I want a soda amount of caffeine, not an energy drink. the non-caffeinated ones (like Ice and a similar off brand one I also found) I drank for most of last year, but they're either too sweet or taste like sad water.

@Totalanimefan:
I do too ;;
this why I tried that non-hormonal IUD but that went disastrously wrong so
not going down that road again!
I wonder if the no-hormone pill would help my moods. Must wait til april 6 to find out with this new Dr person!
