Did pretty good today, up until I had to work on something for a Pathfinder game my friends and I want to start up, and Roll20 just kept having issues until me and my boyfriend were almost in tears from rage.

Also I guess this is my diary now...?

Alright I've got my PSP out and Lunar Silver Star Harmony playing, so I guess I'm okay now...?

I'd be playing Animal Crossing, but the Cranny is closed for renovations.

You'd think at some point I'd stop crying and lashing out, and get something done. :|

I don't really know how to talk to people normally anymore. Help...?

Asher sat by a pond at the edge of town, glaring down at his reflection as he patted at his temples. Every time he lifted a palm, a spurt of purple flame sparked underneath, which the boy would quickly squash back down with a groan, seemingly with no injury to himself, even as the flame licked between the cracks in his fingers. This had been a morning ritual since the beginning of the month, awaking in a panic as he struggled to hide the new... curse? Defects? What kind of person has a mutation that makes such a thing appear?! Still, after a few minutes of this, and with a lot of effort, the flame eventually managed to sputter out. He sighed, shoulders relaxing as he looked around, thankful no one had left the village to see just yet.

With that out of the way, the boy stood and dusted himself off, then turned to enter town once again. He stretched his arms behind his head, following the mostly empty streets in the early morning until he had reached the inn that was currently his home. This was his second week in Butterbush, and from what he heard at the tavern, he'd need to be careful... But maybe he was over-worried, maybe that rumor wasn't about it... After all, he wasn't a demon! He just... had an unfortunate issue at the moment. And he was a mage, and most evangelical types hated his kind anyway.

Yeah, that was it...

Asher caught himself spacing out, and quickly shook his head as he tried to gather his thoughts, but his anxiety made it difficult. As he paced through the streets, his mana began to stir up, creating unnatural wind that knocked at wooden signs and slammed loose tools and debris against walls and the ground. He didn't notice, his gaze blankly ahead as his mind whirled, but a few passersby began to complain about the sudden wind that threw autumn leaves in their face.

@Ixora: yeah, I've heard about it! But last I heard it was delayed... has there been an update?

Boxing day is an English holiday where traditionally, servants were given gifts by their employers. (At least, I think so. It's been a long time since I was told about it.) I haven't done any shopping, but I have gone out to eat, which was nice! I've mostly just played my mobile game and read the book I got for Christmas.

@Ixora: Maybe? It's an old game, about ten years old I think, so it's from a time where paying to play an MMO was pretty normal. I'm still trying to decide if it's worth my money yet. It's got that Harry Potter, YA fiction vibe that I crave, but I'm still on the fence.

Also, happy Boxing Day! How have you been?

@Ixora: I guess with time and dedication you could earn enough crowns through the daily trivia games and videos, maybe...?

@Hobovampire: Sounds fun! I'm binging podcasts and replying to RPs. I'm really behind and I wanna keep up lol.

@Ixora: It's a bit weird. You have to pay for most of the levels, which is weird for a kids game. I think I'm gonna play it every once in a while though.

And I got a succulent gardening kit, a portable heater, new pajamas, some cute cat bookends, and a book called What If?: Scientific Answers to Absurd Questions.

@Hobovampire: Nice to meet you! How's your day been?
Posted in Get In the Solstice Spirit: Community Goals Posted 4 years ago

@Goblin: omg your avi is great. And your name.

@Tsundererra: I'm still learning the character names but it's the one that says "Home Sweet Home"
Posted in Get In the Solstice Spirit: Community Goals Posted 4 years ago

Ahh, I got distracted by a jigsaw and now I'm all lost! @_@

But I'm glad to hear everyone is doing pretty well~
Posted in Get In the Solstice Spirit: Community Goals Posted 4 years ago

@blinkini: Same. I join forums like this to make friends, but it's hard to do that when I'm too shy to poke my head in to more than one hangout thread at a time! XD

@Tsundererra: Aww, thank you <3

Hey, how is everyone's Christmas so far? What gifts have you gotten? :D
