She was silent as she waited in the hall outside his office. She didn't really have much in terms of thoughts or perceptions of anything as she had before. She was just... doing as she was told.

It was going on 5pm, and she'd been told to be there for 5 every day, as she had been. She was reliably there, without fail, usualyl early. She knew that he was finishing up an appointment, as he often was, and knew that she was to just wait.

So she stood there, waiting.

"Oh probably." Asriel agreed.

"But nothing we can do about that, unfortunately." She added.

"I really do hope that you two," She looked between Uriel and Gabriel, "are immune though. It really wouldn't do well to have either of you fall victim."

"Been awhile since I've heard mention of them." Asriel commented. "It's usually the other side we hear about."

"However, that is... alarming." She added, looking to be thinking about it for a moment.

"Considering the fact that she's quite.... well, they are rather violent, moreso than the other side."

Asriel was silent for a moment before sighing, heavily.

".... All we can do for the moment... is just try and keep her alive." She said, referring to Sariel.

"Because we don't know what the mana will do to her, what it has done to her.' She continued. "... is she even going to be the woman we know when she wakes? If she wakes?" It wasn't hard to tell that she was a bit on the concerned side for her sister, but also that she couldn't deny the possibilities of what she, at least, feared would come to pass, but also that it wouldn't.

As it stood, she wasn't sure what would happen, but wouldn't shut the door on any possibility without due diligence in the research.

"I... did not even know that this was a possible thing that could happen." Asriel admitted.

"I know it wouldn't be good for us to interfere, but I had no idea this could happen." She added.

"That damned contract is giving her way too much power." There was definitely ire to her voice, but it was overshadowed by the concern.

"And we can't do anything."

Asriel was silent for a moment before sighing, heavily.

"And there's foreign mana. L" she commented.

"but something knocked an arch angel out. This is not good. That's almost impossible to do."

Asriel was silent as she looked toward the direction of the signatures.

"What the fuck happened?" She asked, concern to her voice, features.

"Because seriously. This is alarming. More than a little." She added. "Gabe, go get the medkit. I get the feeling we might need that."

Sariel was silent, not able to say anything for the moment.

"I... I..." She started, trying to say something, anything. She wanted to wish for something, give him some sort of protection. but she couldn't. As soon as that thought crossed her mind, she felt a pulse through her head. Hal saw the twitch, before she met his gaze. He could see the edge she was on, before she was out. Probably more solidly than Cam was at the moment.

@Wildfire: Haven't been sleeping well for the past few days. Then again, insomnia, so it happens from time to time.
And I'm all right otherwise. Making progress on my vid for Tuesday, so yay~

Sariel didn't say anything, just brought her hands up to her head, looking to be in some sort of anguish.

"She... she's in my head... I ... I can't..." She managed to get out, after a lot of effort. She seemed to double over a bit, trying to ignore, suppress, reject, or handle it. She couldn't though. Hal could literally see the effect, the results, seeping in. It looked like she was calming down, her hands had less tension, less stress, and he could see that actively fading.

The only reason could be that the mana was getting to her more.

"I... I'm sorry...." She said quietly, seeming to realise what was coming.

"I have absolutely no idea." Sariel answered honestly.

"If I did, I would share, but we both know that even you can't get the information you want for that." She added after a moment or two.

"And... and..." She started before shaking her head.

"And..." She seemed to be stuck on that, and it was sudden. She couldn't get what she wanted to say out, and Hal was able to literally watch her expression change from the anger, to more shocked.

"... I... I wi..." She started, but it took a lot of force, effort. However, she couldn't say anything more, and while she knew what was going on, knew this feeling, she couldn't quite vocalise it, or properly grasp it at the moment to pass on in any way.

"I'm hard to kill." Sariel answered before sighing.

"Encrae." She then said, answering his second question.

"I cannot affect anyone who has come under effect from this." She told him. "As I'm divine... and she has that fucking contract." There was definitely venom to her voice, far more than was expected. Sariel was God's Patience, and she was almost never angry, but this, here... Hal could hear it plain as day. He could easily guess she was furious, livid, but was reigning it in well enough to not blow up in the building.
