Lily was silent for a moment.
"We all are, really." She commented.

Lily was silent for a moment before sighing.
"What of it?" She asked, having an idea as to where he was going with that. She wasn't sure what it was that she was supposed to make of that, of course. How anyone could love her, without having some sort of blood connection to h er.

"Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised." Lily commented with a light sigh.
"The sheer... hatred that i felt while there was enough to put my mother to shame, I think." She told him simply, and plainly.
"It was unbelievably oppressive." She added.
"I almost turned tail and ran, to be honest."

"Heh." Lily just chuckled lightly.
"Fighting is in my blood." She commented after a few seconds.
"Plain and simple. Fighting is part of who I am, so it's really not surprising that I can handle myself in a fight." She added after a few seconds.
"Plus, you know, you had their attention pretty damn well, letting me come in and just kill one."

"Yup. Mom's... not one to cross when pissed." Lily agreed.
"And once I'm cleared to get out of here, I'll probably be going to try and get her to stop beating on Ash. Assuming she still is. I dunno how long I've been here, so she may have cooled down by now."

Lily sighed as she closed the book she'd been reading.
"Chances are Mom's having fun with him." She commented, seeming to know what it was that could be done. She had quite a handle on her parents mentalities, and she knew that neither of them would like that Ash gave her the information that led to this position.
"Because I'm willing to bet that Ash was smart enough to not hide the information from Mom about what happened to me."
