Kylie was silent for a moment before sighing.
"Of course." She stated.
"Shifters are always out for the fae kind. Of any kind." She stated.
"It doesn't matter what it was that is in their past, I think it is in their genetics now." She then added before sighing, again.
"Am I safe here, do you think?"

There was silence for a moment before he was approached by the fae in question. She flew into the room and hovered in front of him.
"Are you all right?" She asked in a bit of a squeak, as was to be expected.
"You seem worried."

He just laughed.
"I'll get that fae bitch." He promised before vanishing from where he was, leaving Ash to wonder what the hell that was all about.
How would he have even known that Ash was in contact with one of those fae anyway? That was something that he couldn't rightly answer without asking someone, and obviously that wasn't an option that would be easily done, either.

"That does not matter." He stated with a snarl.
"That fae needs to die. End of story. They nearly tore the world apart at one point." He continued.

He crossed his arms acorss his chest after Ash did what he did.
"So?" He asked.
"That does not change what I said before."
"That fae? Needs to die."

"Tell me where the fae is." He stated simply in response.
"Because That fae needs to be killed. I will do it so that you don't have to." He added.
"So where? I won't ask again. I will find her by force if I must."

When Ash whirled around, he saw someone he hadn't expected to.
It looked like it was Jaden.
Sounded like him too, now that he thought of it.
"You're kidding, right?" He asked.
"I am not going to let you use that thing. They should be DEAD. You'll just add more fuel to their fire of being abused."

Desiree just laughed lightly.
"Not a problem!" She said with a smile.
"I'm always willing to lend an ear." She added.

A few days later, Ash had just finished speaking with Kalin, a woman who gave him pretty close to the same kind of answer as Desiree had. She told him that he should keep in mind the future, if he had something he'd want to leavebehind in the future, and the like.
As he was walking through a park nearby, instead of using his mana to get home, he heard a voice behind him.
"Yo. You're the one with that Voveo fae. Where is it?" They asked, their voice sharp, harsh.
"And don't try and say you don't have. I know you do. My intel is never wrong."

There was a bit of silence, a bit of chattering between the two creatures before they accepted the crackers with some quite obvious glee. Desiree just chuckled lightly.
"Told ya they love them." She added as the creatures seemed to be quite thrilled to have them, and each snuggled his legs for a moment before scurrying off.

"Completely by choice." Desiree answered with a light laugh.
"I've seen a few that are as pets with people, and a few others that are doing other things." She added.
"It's awesome, really." She then said with a laugh.
"They aren't the most social creatures, but they are most certainly friendly."

Desiree just smirked before pulling something out of her pocket and handing it over. They were crackers.
"Here." she said with a chuckle.
"This is something that they absolutely love." She stated.
"Beyond that, there are no monetary tips accepted. They like treats though."

Desiree just chuckled lightly.
"Yeah, a legacy." She commented.
"I think it'd be something that you should consider." She added. "If only just because... well, I know you said that Ashley was pregnant last month." She added.
"So...." She trailed off before shrugging.
"What kinda of legacy tdo you want to have left behind for your child? Consider that with whatever you decide to go with. Maybe it'll make it easier to decide... or more difficult."
