@Another Movie Addict: It's always difficult trying to accommodate a significant number of people with dates and plans...

@Wildfire: We like to say it's like herding cats. Because some people don't say anything til day of that they'll show up too.

@Another Movie Addict: LOL - right? It's not letting me take advantage of the weather here while it's still nice. This stupid thing is going to dump us straight in to hurricane season and nasty weather! :P

@Wildfire: Tell me about it. I heard the Florida city Jacksonville are being stupid and reopening the beaches.

@Another Movie Addict: Yeah, I'm not entirely sure what's going on. From what I understand, there are a couple beaches open now, but they are not nearly as crowded as some of the news outlets would like you to believe - people are practicing social distancing. From what I've seen personally in the park when I went a couple weeks ago, people were following all the "rules" just fine. I imagine it's the really much the same at the beaches, really. The problem with the beaches originally, was the timing with all this covid stuff - right during Spring Break, while everyone was trying to figure out and process what the heck was really going on...

@Wildfire: Fair. There's a hiking park that I really like to go to, but supposedly all parks are supposed to be closed. Which sucks because by the time they reopen, it'll be full Florida Summer heat.

@Wildfire: Which is why, if our Disney trip is cancelled and needs moving. We're going to do it around Christmas time instead.

@Another Movie Addict: Disney...Land... right? Or World? Of course, we need to be out of quarantine and have the parks open again regardless...

@Another Movie Addict: Wait...aren't you in Cali? I know you came from FL, but... oh, my brain is seriously shutting down. And yes, definitely take advantage of the FL resident discounts!!

@Wildfire: Lol I'm in Florida. Wouldn't know it by looking at my county though. Since I'm in North Florida, which kind of resembles South Georgia.

@Another Movie Addict: Ok, so I'm not remembering things correctly - I'm getting tired. :(
I'm in central west FL. Orlando is ~2hrs drive from here (less if traffic is light)

@Wildfire: Orlando is roughly a 4-6 hour drive for me. I can't remember which to be honest. Made the trip a few times and it is a long and tedious. But once I get to Disney or a few conventions around there it is a blast. But I know for a fact that I do not want to do Disney World in full Florida Summer.

@Another Movie Addict: OMG no. FL summer is "hide in the house or the pool" and that's about it. The quarantine couldn't come *then* could it?? LOL!
