We ended up staying in Arlington, and would take the train into DC to whatever area we were gonna be in
for the next five or six hours. We found a few good places to eat and neat things to do.
We have a friend that lives there too, so we get good suggestions from him a lot.
I JUST got home for the first time since leaving. I just got off work, now I gotta go to bed for class tomorrow @-@
@Booderdooder: I really like Arlington. I also use the metro when I’m in town.
Where did you eat? Maybe I could try them during the summer.
@Totalanimefan: We went to a ramen place called Haikan, where I had probably THE best
bowl of ramen I have ever had. The spicy shoyu was incredible. We also went to Busboys and Poets,
which we always do for breakfast. Then we went to a ritzy Italian restaurant called North Italia,
where I had the best chicken parmesan I've ever had. Their tiramisu and salted caramel pudding was DECADENT.
I highly recommend them all, but Haikan was probably the most affordable. Busboys & Poets has the most
organic food and best atmosphere (imo, they're basically a bookstore in a restaurant), and North Italia
was the fanciest, but still wasn't a bank-breaker. It's worth the price, anyway.
