@Avocado: Hmmm... Generally, I like really cute/cartoonish art styles. Some of my favorite artists are marreeps, zukich, unknownspy, luupon, plushpon, TheZodiacLord, and yamio.

If you could get your art cheaper by selecting amongst existing assets, would you? Or do you prefer it all from scratch? Not the characters themselves, but, for example, picking a premade cafe scene, city skyline, or bucolic expanse? (Assuming additional customibility is still an option for these assets.)

Would this also apply to working from bases, also assuming customization? Such as preexisting body types that can be additionally tweaked to match the proper proportions of your character, and then into a requested pose?

@Avocado: Yeah, absolutely. At the end of the day, all I'm concerned about is getting something worth what I'm paying for, so as long as by doing this the quality isn't suffering, I have no qualms with it.

How involved do you like to be in the creation process? Do you prefer dumping in a reference and giving a description, and just getting what you get, or do you like to be updated periodically to make additional changes/clarifications?

@Avocado: For me currently, yeah. I've never had above 3000 volts, and I've never had any ohms. I'm sure there's somebody that could afford it though! If it's really worth that much, then I'd wait till I could pay to buy it.
