Yeah. I keep getting told I'm mooching off the government and abusing the system and I'm like.?!?! My extra money goes to gas and diapers. I have NOTHING extra. Jerks. That stuff is saving me and my family from dying .

One in particular I can think off did think she understood. And she told us that we were clearly being lazy and not putting am effort into surviving. We told her to f off and then she got kicked out of the family.

I think people are rude about getting help from the government because there’s a stigma in this country to get help and admit you’re poor, and that you have to help yourself by pulling yourself up by your bootstraps (even though most of the wealthy people are born into it). Most Americans are one paycheck away from being f*cked, but they act like they’re future millionaires.
