I live in the suburbs and I love it!
I like going into the city for the day. Chicago is pretty nice, lots of Pride events and conventions and fun stuff. But I like the more quiet suburb for day to day life

Chicago has parks and stuff, but a lot of it is cement and brick and steel.
My brother lives about an hour away, more in the country. It’s fun to visit and drive past farms and horses. But I like being in between best. ^^

There are lots of neighborhoods in Tokyo I would love to see!
But there are some super cute country towns with fun attractions and their own mascots. I would happily see them all if I could!

Dogs understand my love of animals, they also love animals and each other.
it's completely impossible not to perk up and get excited at the sight of animals.

aww yeah, i like how dogs are really attuned to this like emotional layer
like they express when they're excited, sad, etc. and pick up on how others in the environment are feeling
i think dogs have good feelings radar? lol
i love animals but i don't think i've come around all the way to bugs yet lol

I went to IKEA last week and it was so nice to finally go again (it's been closed for who knows how long). The restaurant was closed due to covid, but it was still so nice to walk around. I went to go window shopping for a couch/bed, but the one we wanted was out of stock. ;A;
Also I miss the 100-Yen stores I went to while I lived in Okinawa. Really wish we had similar shops here where I live, but the few stores I find with Japanese goods are so limited in their selection.
