I know a lot of the queer coding was played as a gag but it was really important to me when I first watched it. Tho wtf was up with the lesbian school cause yikes
@Lilykin: I just had one and it was good. We didn't have white sugar so I used turbando (sp?) sugar instead and the taste is great but it's not as fine as white sugar, so the texture isn't that great. Even though I creamed the heck out of them.
@Totalanimefan: I've never heard of that. You probably could have substituted with brown sugar and been fine. You just would have to watch them closely cause they would cook fast and be darker in color
