@Another Movie Addict: Stay safe. I didn’t know you were in that area too. I have friends who stayed behind with multiple animals and kids. I’m worried about them too. They just lost power.

Just an update:
Michael made landfall an hour ago at Mexico Beach, FL at 2:50pm local time. Winds at landfall were 155MPH. Which is on the boarder of a CAT 5 hurricane.
Even Waffle House is closed. This is no joke.
My sister goes to FSU but thankfully she left to her our family's house in Melbourne. I thought it was only supposed to be a cat 3 and I woke up today to this news I am so glad she left. Is there no shelters you guys can go with animals?

It's amazing just how quickly this hurricane went from nothing to one of the worst hurricanes ever! I don't even understand how it happened. I know the Gulf has warm waters, but damn.
Seriously!! Craziness, i really didn't expect it to go from 1 to 4 so quickly.
