Yeah. Can't defend all the while, but it sounds like a pretty good place to start.
I think we'll naturally get a sense of what's around us as we continue to read the scenes. For now, it seems like she's about to attack us, so we should probably defend.
Also, it looks like her cleaver is pretty worn out. Maybe if we dodge at just the right time, she'll swing it into something else and cause it to break?

Uhm, I'm going to expound on the Defend and say dodge. I mean, she's a shaky old lady, right? c': Dodge can also lead the way to manoeuvre around / flank, and disarm or attack by surprise, for example. I was gonna say attack but defense is important.
