I applied for my first job.
I applied at a cupcake bakery near my house. It is perfect.
So I am praying[which I do not do] that I get the job cause it would be great.
Like I don't even care how much it pays. it helps gain people experience in baking and most places I've looked
that are hiring for bakeries want 2 years in experience. So This is like...the perfect opportunity.

They are getting quite a bit of applications in so I hope they call me within 1-2 days.

Oh jeez so many responses which i did not expect XD
@Saeyra: Me too. I am nervous I won't get it because i am still getting my GED.
But they didn't say anything about having to have diploma or certain education.
So fingers crossed haha.

@Roseywitch: me too. I actually have been to their bakery twice before i applied. And their cupcakes are great.
Plus they do gluten and dairy free and it's a place my sister[who is literally my best friend] can enjoy desserts without any stomach problems
in the process.

@Sirlionelnigelconrad: It's a small business. It's actually made from a military family.
The ower/creator of this great cupcake bakery use to be studying science and then she made this cupcake
business which i thought was pretty cool but anyways it's quite a small building. No idea how many have applied but 17 shares, 26 likes and 10 comments
and many were saying this is a dream job ;w; which makes me nervous.

@Fielkun: thank you. I worked all day about 1-2 days ago and my sis helped me with my resume.
And my teacher sent me a letter of reccomendation as well.

they made updates to their FB but mostly on new cupcake flavors
which tells me they are still going through applications.

My grandma thinks I should wait till Monday but i feel that may be too late.

@fuuchan: Wow! That sounds like a fantastic place, for everyone and anyone! It's great that there are more places like that around nowadays. Thankfully if you get the job you'll be learning from some great pastry chefs.
Aww it's cute that you and your sister are so close. I am glad that a place so close to you guys can serve those types of desserts, so that you all can enjoy some good cupcakes.

and this place is hiring trainee/bakers/decorators[they also do cakes], and service.
so i kinda applied for all positions. Whatever is really available.

if I did most likely I am sure I would be trainee. But still i am so hoping I get it.
and yeah. Growing up when we would go out we'd go for my ice cream and my sis could never have any
and same with frozen yogurt places. So i am so glad this cupcake place is opened to dairy free, gluten free and sugar free.
I think they said vegan too but i am not sure. XD

Yeah my sister is literally my best friend <3

@fuuchan: Smart idea! That way you can do two years there and apply to the other place, that is, if you want to in that time! This place could be so great that you may not want another job.

Even if you are a trainee, you'll be promoted to something else soon enough. I'm crossing my fingers for you!!!
Aww I feel for her, I bet she wanted that stuff too. But now she can munch on the vegan goodies! I'm sure if it's dairy free it's vegan? I'm not 100% sure though, but we have a vegan chocolate place here in town that I almost applied for. OTL

@Roseywitch: That is exactly what i was thinking. I may not want to leave this job.
Plus it's a small business and I just want to get better not only at baking but also my social skills.
Like I am pretty social in RL but first saying something I tend to get nervous about. Not sure why.
But the application said they are looking for Creative, Enthustatic people. I am definitely both of those.

Hehe thank you. And I am a fast learner not to mention I am great at adapting! I wrote some interview questions I may be asked
so I won't think too hard on them lol. I am sure I'll hear by them by maybe Monday?
And I have to take a test on tuesday. I am planning to have tuesdays and thursdays off if i can as those are my class days.

They do use all organic ingrediants so it's probably both ahaha.

We use to fight a lot but over the years we've grown so much closer.
especially now that we are both in our 20's.
