"Yep. And they'll even help you update and upgrade your glamour." She then said before pausing.

"Yes, I realize that you should accept who and what you are... but really? Some shit you gotta keep hidden when out in public. Just because we're all freaks here, sure as shit doesn't mean that the general populace will accept it." She then said.

"I mean look at me. I have horns I keep hidden. Then again, I also hate lookin'a t them because I didn't ask for 'em, but meh. That's a whole different thing."

"......something tells me that there's a story behind that..." Azazel muttered.

"But I didn't ask to be a demon, either." he said.

He then sighed, and shook his head again.

"I'm just used to being chased, I guess." he went on.

"Torch mobs and crap..."

"Far different world than that." Miki commented.

"And you may not hjave asked, but you were human originally." She added after a moment.

"Regardless, it's a thing that you should be able to accept, since it's who youa re. If you can't be comfortable in your own skin.... what good CAN you do?" She then asked.

".........." again, Azazel was silent.

"Again, good point." he said.

"You've made a lot of them already..." he admitted.

"Given me a lot to think about..." he said further.

"I admit, I'm confused and conflicted now." he went on.

"Which, I suppose... is kind of an upgrade?" he finished with a small shrug.

Miki just shrugged.

"Good points are something I"m good for." She stated.

"Beyond that though, really? If you need someone to bitch at, hi. Ty and I are good walls." She then said before pausing with a chuckle.

"Yeahhhh Ty's real good for that. I use him as a wall quite often... in multiple ways for that matter." She added with a laugh.

Azazel looked at Miki confusedly.

"Uh... right." he said.

"Something tells me there's quite a story behind that statement." he commented with a deep sigh.

He then looked at his hands, before looking back at Miki.

"A safe place..." he said.

"I guess I never really thought such a thing could exist for me."

Miki shrugged.

"There is. But sometimes I'm just too pissed to deal with anything and he's impossible to kill it seems, sooooo" she trailed off.

"It's a thing. And here? here is one of the safest places, ever." She then said, changing topics.

"It's brilliant. I love it."

Azazel could feel the sincerity and relief in her tone when she spoke of the Unit.

And he smiled lightly.

"I see." he said.

"Maybe... this is what I've been waiting for all this time." he commented.

"A place that won't care about these..." he said, gesturing to his horn-and-a-half.

"But I still feel... self-conscious about it..." he mumbled.

Miki just laughed.

"Trust me, you don't need to be." she commented before reaching up and taking the clips out of her own hair, allowing the glamour that she had attached to them to break and vanish. Her eyes were red instead of blue, and she had the small horns that were above and behind her ears.

"Here." She said, reaching out and handing him the clips.

"They're gender neutral, at least, but until you can get your own glamour charm, those'll help."

Azazel looked at the clips, before accepting them.

He then looked in a mirror, and put the clips on, watching as his horns disappeared.

"Oh... oh my..." he said.

"Wait..." he then muttered.

"How good ARE these things?" he asked. "Or, rather, the tech here at the Unit?" he clarified.

"Can they cover... like... an entire body in a glamour?" he asked further.

Miki juyst laughed.

"You've met Anya, right?" She asked him. After he nodded she smirked.

"Her entire body is glamoured. She's rather pale, webby, and not very pretty otherwise. It's her bracelet that does it." She told him.

"If you want to see how far they go, there ya go."

Azazel's eyes widened when he heard that.

"Right! D'uh!" he exclaimed.

"I've met one like her in the past, and she looks NOTHING like her!" he said.

He then sighed, and took off the clips, letting the horns show again.

"...maybe I can finally stop concentrating on this..." he muttered, as he seemed to let out a long sigh, and Miki felt a release of energy and mana.

It was then that his human skin seemed to crack and peel away, revealing a skin that seemed to be made of pure black, with various 'cracks' of red running through him, and a long tail grew out from behind him, with his eyes seeming to be red orbs floating in empty dark sockets.

"This is what I REALLY look like." he told her.

Miki just quirked an eyebrow when she saw what happened.

"Huh." She started.

"See, you're definitely one of the most interesting people I've seen here before, but certainly not the worst. Seriously. We've at least one gorgon... and they are just freaky. Along with that, don't meet their gaze... that's trouble." She said with a laugh.

Azazel just chuckled lightly.

"Heh, yeah." he said.

"Well... I'm going to go get a belt or something to help conceal this." he told her, gesturing to his body.

"Thanks for showing these to me." he went on, handing her the clips back.

"But... well... guess I need to show this place who... and what... I really." he finished.

He then left the room, and Miki could see there was more confidence in his posture and stride already.

Something had gotten through. And it was only a matter of time before it flourished.
