My alarm didn't go off this morning!

Yeah, I have an alarm that is autoset to go off Mon-Fri at 7:50am. I didn't go off this morning, and normally I'm awake before the alarm since my husband has to leave at 7:30. But yesterday I felt like I was coming down with a cold, so I told myself I needed the extra 20 mins, well it turned into another hour of sleep! I woke up a little bit before I was about to start for work.
My workplace was totally cool with it at least.

That sucks that has happened to me before. Or at least I assume it didn't go off but maybe I slept through it or accidently dismissed it in my sleep. XDD

I'm glad your workplace was cool about it.
I always seem to wake up 15 minutes before my alarm is supposed to go off for some reason or another.
It's actually kind of annoying because it isn't enough time to get back to sleep but it's just enough time
to make me feel like I've really gotten screwed out of the full potential of my rest.

@Luffer Nutter: I always wake up right away with alarms because I'm a light sleeper. When my husband's alarm goes off I hear it for at least 10 times before he turns it off lol

@Niamh: I hate waking up before my alarm because I try to get at least 8 hours, but it doesn't always work out that way, so I didn't sleep well the night before.
I'm really happy that my workplace didn't seem to mind. I feel horrible about it.

I have quite a few alarms set in the morning plus get a phone call from my girlfriend because I am not a morning person.

I’m glad work was cool with it, we are all human it’d Be a shame if they didn’t understand.
