@Amakai: I didn’t even notice that they changed that. I’ve seen the original so many times!
The new one is directed by the manga artist so you know it’s going to be good and true to the story. I heard that she hated the way the original anime was done.

I liked the original anime just fine...it was pretty close to the manga to me but it's been awhile since I've watched it.

@Amakai: The anime covers so little of the manga and the anime's ending is different plus they never get into what Shigure is really like in the original. I LOVE the anime but it's different in places ^^

I never finished reading the manga series...I got most of it but when we moved, we moved to a small town so there's no bookstore and I'd rather not read it online xD And yea...it didn't really get in depth with the characters in the original anime but I feel like most animes are like that when they're only allowed a certain number of episodes.
