@Amber Lynne: Aww cats are just natural Tsunderes.
He's being a clingy little shit and he sleeps on my legs at night and every time I toss and turn he just goes with the flow and ends up on me more. He also is on the lookout for when I am awake in the morning read first light tossing and turning and then he come up to me face and wants to suckle me or my husband.

He also runs really hot at night. Even with the heating off I still sometimes wake up sweating.
But he's a good cat and a good boy even if he is a little shit sometimes.

When you're 10 and christmas takes fOrEvEr to show up? That's beccacuse it's literally 1/10 of your life.
When you're 30? It's 1/30th.
Etc
1 year is a smaller chunk of time for ya each year, so each year it'll get quicker.
Don't make it suck any less though, or be any less jarring, lol.
@Amber Lynne: ....nah... this is much more than that phenomenon IMO... and it's affecting people of different ages - we're all describing the same thing, whether we're 30 or 50 or 70... even my 19 & 21 year old kids are feeling the passing of time very differently this year than last. :3
