Congratulations on finding a new place; I hope the transition out is smooth.
I have been mostly lucky in the places I've lived. The first apartment I moved into lasted only three months because the neighbors in the other side of the duplex shot a gun through the wall and then had the audacity to come over and laugh about it while telling me not to go to the police. I don't think about them often, but I wouldn't feel guilty about wishing they fell into an oncoming truck.
