- Which flavour jam do you prefer?
I just tried my first pb&j with strawberry jam and I LOVED it, but I want to branch out. Any recs? I’ve never seen grape in shops here unfortunately, but most other flavours I should be able to find.

First Brit I've ever met that liked a PB&J. You are awesome.
I like pretty much any jam. Some people see grape as the default, but I think you can use any jam.
Maybe try Apricot if you like that jam. I like using that one lately.

Yeah... mostly folks in the U.S. default to grape jelly/jam for PB&J but just about anything should work. Strawberry is a good one. Raspberry is good too. You should also try peanut butter with honey, with or without cinnamon sprinkled on top :3

@sunny: I feel that, and you probably got a PB with sugar in it too (we have ones that are just PB and salt here, but they tend to be small brands). Sugar-free jam could work, you could also try less jam if you can't find a sugar-free one?
Also some people like PB and Banana. It's not jam, you just slice a banana on there and have it in the sandwich instead of jam. Could help with the less sugar too.

Total beat me to it, but I was going to suggest banana too... and that's also something that you can add honey and/or cinnamon to as well... It's one of my elder son's favorite combinations, actually... and he'll add raisins to the mix and roll it all up in a tortilla... the weirdo ;)
@sunny: Obvs only works if you like bananas but it's another popular one. ^^ Also PB is pretty good for you, cause of protein and fats to keep you full, it's just the added sugar and dense calories that are the downsides.

@Totalanimefan: I do like bananas:) I think my PB is sugar free, and reduced fat, but not the jam. I ate 2 sandwiches before the headache struck XD

I love peanut butter and grape jelly sandwiches! I've never actually had it with any other jelly/jam. O: Raspberry sounds good.
I've had a peanut butter and honey sandwich. That was so good!
I would suggest fruit/fruits cups to accompany it. X3

@sunny: I was going to say crips haha. Maybe you just need the right flavor to go with it? British crips always have interesting flavors. I always liked Tyrells (spelling?)
