@Totalanimefan: yesss! that's what i always feel every summer. however upstairs bathroom is kinda cool.
it's the only place out of the whole house with a GOOD window. like lock and everything and thick so it blocks out
noise and heat.
if the sliding door had a better door like the bathroom window im sure the place would be
so much cooler and easier to survive the summer heat.

In the winter I do like that the upstairs is 'warmer' but it's still freezing.

tho i hope there will be no fires this year so we're forced to shut all windows.
but i have a feeling we will get more as we are already having some fires near places in the state.

@sunny: I think you can get like chicken wire or something and that will keep them away.
@MoodyB: Those do work. I bought some when I lived in Florida. I hope that fire season isn't bad out west. I lived through some of the worst years in CA and I was like no thank you. It was so bad last year that some of the smoke even made it all the way over here on the east coast. I guess no one can escape it if it's a bad season.

@MoodyB: I heard the same for other parts of the west as well. CA barely got any rain this winter so things are already dry. How much rain did CO get?
