I heard that's pretty common these days, the rent hikes. In the city, the rent seemed like it was all over the place; some places were a thousand less per month than they were the year before, and then others were about as viable as buying a house on your own.

Oregon had some gems, but if you wanted to live closer to a city then you'll likely end up paying quite a bit. The places with lower rent were...well, you get the territory.

@MoodyB: sorry to hear that, we found out that our top floor window in a spare bedroom is down a bit from the ceailing and it shouldnt be so cold air is coming into that room making my bedroom cold at night. Have to figure out how to fix it.

@MoodyB: I had a friend who was having problems with her landlord, so far she has had to call somebody a couple of time now. due to certain things not getting fixed, and ended up getting fixed because the landlord didn't wanna do any of it.

@MoodyB: start taking photos of what needs to be fixed and then email it to her, and say does this look like it is untrue to you
